The noise canceling is the best!! So easy to pair and simple instructions on how to work your headset. The sound is outstanding. The call quality is amazing as well. Comes with a nice sturdy case. Just a 10 minute charge can give you up to 5 hours. Alexa built-in. 360 Reality Audio. Google assistant. You can get 30 hours battery time! There's so many options to adjust your audio/communication experience. In my opinion this headset is definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down these headphones take the cake for noise-canceling headphones and are the best set of headphones I have owned. I was very surprised by how comfortable the headphones rested over my ears and how I didn't feel the band at all. The sound quality is very high with having great Bluetooth codec support. The active noise cancelling is next level with a huge difference being noticed between my Airpod Pros and this product. The length of battery is acceptable and the fast charge feature is true to advertisement and can be a life saver. These headphones have replaced my previous product I used and have yet to discover a major issue.

I owned WH-1000XM3, and one of the features I like is to have different settings of sound from the Virtual Surround Sound. By setting it to Arena or Club this will boost the bass which makes big difference. The XM3 have a nice vibration to them that tingles your ears if your pump it to the max, that's sorely lacking in the XM4. Even though there is a default EQ which can be changed, the bass still lacking, very weak, and the feature of Virtual Surround Sound has been removed by Sony. There are plenty other people who have same opinion about this missing feature, and weak bass. I hope the Sony support will pass on this feedback and hoping with the new firmware or Headphones app update, Sony can bring back the Virtual Surround Sound or something similar.

I have the NC700 and these -- the sound quality is by far more superior than the bose to my ears. The comfort is also really great. I do wish they allowed you to pair with more than 2 devices (phone + laptop is not enough, especially if you have a work laptop too! that is 3 devices!) . I also had trouble trying to pair these with my SONY TV. My laptop can pair easily, but these can't, may be an issue with my TV, vs. the headphones though. However, the most annoying thing about these headphones are the fact it doesn't have a quick button or feature to mute the mic when you are on a call. I was hoping to use the custom button or two finger double tap ...but nope. Maybe a software update would allow this? It is incredibly important feature for taking phone calls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I love about these headphones is they are a great size, not super bulky. They are also extremely comfortable to wear.. They have a cushioned band and the earpieces swivel meaning the instantly self adjust to your head shape instead of having a one size fits all, stiff fit. These have very soft earpads, don't squish my ears and are so light weight, I forget I'm wearing them! These headphones were very easy to connect via the Sony headphones connect app, and the dashboard for controlling them is remarkably easy to navigate. There are so many in app options including an equalizer, the option of mapping your ears for better sound delivery and even adjusts sound quality to your actions like sitting or walking. The noise canceling ability of the Sony 1000XM4s is nothing short of perfection. I cannot hear people taking to me that are literally standing a mere 2 feet away. Sound quality is absolutely remarkable! The bass is nice, you can hear every instrument and voices are in the forefront, they sound like your at a live concert! I like that they pause your music when the headphones are removed! The sound quality in regards to calls is exquisite, crystal clear with no static or drop out; you couldn't ask for anything better! These last 30 hours on one single charge which is perfect for long shifts at work and for me in general since ai tend to forget to charge things. In addition to that, these are fast charging: it takes about 10 or 15 minutes to get around 5 more hours of battery! These have everything I would ask for if I designed my own pair of headphones; I am so impressed! If you are even considering purchasing these, don't waste another second and do it!

I’ve owned my XM4s for around 8 months now, and can’t go anywhere without them! Lightweight, comfortable, easy to operate (the bespoke settings are very easy to manipulate via the app), and most importantly as I am a musician for a living - the sound is really excellent. Although you can alter using a graphic equaliser, I just really love the factory setting flat EQ; I previously used studio quality monitoring headphones for the truest sound possible, and the flat sound of the XM4s provide this also. And the battery life is bullet-proof - so important when travelling; the stated battery life is 30 hours, and this is incredibly useful when travelling or just daily use without the hassle of having to stop to recharge. (Although the ‘quick-boost’ battery charge is very useful). Contrary to. Other reviews - I find the sound-cancelling dependable and great also, with many other handy adaptive features. Sony are not paying me to say all this! To anyone new to the market for high end Bluetooth headphones I cannot recommend these highly enough. It’s also a very well made product, it’s durable, fits very cleverly into its case. It FEELS nice to the touch!

As a former Club DJ and audiophile I found the sound quality to be excellent at this price point. Noise cancelling worked very well. Headphones are comfortable. My complaint is the touch sensor control, it does not work very well and I find myself hanging up calls when trying to simply adjust the volume. Please provide buttons on the next iteration of these.

These Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless headphones sound amazing. They truly do block out the background noise and are a comfortable fit. They don't hurt after long use and most certainly I don't get sweaty with them either. I had no issues pairing these and neither did my 13 year old son. These rock and you can't beat the sound quality. I would absolutely recommend!
