The head cushion is so comfy , important to me love when things are comfy and quality. Five microphones for background noice cancellations. Love. The Sony app is easy and cool to use. Highly recommend the Sony App. I love that I don’t have to take off the headphones to speak with someone. I can just place my hand on the right ear cup while the music is playing, it will turn the music and noise cancellation off. I can immediately talk with someone. The speak to chat function is vital in my world. With family and pets. I just start talking while wearing the headphones, and it pauses the music and noise cancellation. I speak and then back to sound heaven. I love the understated design in matte black, the touch pad on the side cool and so easy to operate. Case is nice too.

I’ve had several different types of headphones and use them for all types of things from gaming to listening to music. I’ve always struck out trying to find some that I loved, until I received these. They fit great over the ear and does a awesome job of canceling all noise around you. A few things I really enjoyed is that To activate the sound mode all you have to do is start talking. When you remove the headphone the music stops automatically and then when you place them back on the music starts. If your looking for awesome noise canceling headphones then you have definitely found the right one. Easy to sync with your phone and connect. Battery lasted for several hours before needing charged. You can connect 2 devices at the same time. Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony WH-1000XM4 Headset is amazing. I will start by saying this headset is very comfortable to wear. I dislike using earbuds and I don't like headsets that lay on my ears. These lay around the ear and create a seal around the ear. The weight of these on my head are very light. After a while, I do not realize I am wearing them. The quality feel of these are very good. There is nothing flimsy about them. This headset does that. When I powered them up and put them on, I immediately noticed the noise cancelling working. The room became quiet. I used to travel a lot for work and when on a plane would crave a noise cancelling headset. I no longer travel, but these have so many advantages for use on a plane. These are adaptive. So they will work the best for the environment you are in. The sound is incredible. I am getting up in years and I need a headset I can clearly hear the lyrics and music. There is an app that compliments this headset. There are equalizer settings within the app. I adjusted to the levels I prefer and the headset remembers the settings. The app is a must for this headset. I believe it will work without it, but the app gives much more control of the settings of the headset. Some of the notable features in the app are the equalizer, connect to two devices at the same time, button reassignment, headset updates. Yes, this app will update the headset software on the headset. There is an app for Android and iPhone. I set the app to allow to pair to two devices and paired to my Windows Laptop. The headset paired without issue. I can switch audio between the laptop and my Android phone without having to repair each time. There is a carry case with international style audio adapter for a plane. USB C Charging cable. And a audio cable to hard plug into the phone or other devices. Google Assistant and Alexa work with this device, but I do not use either, thus have not tested it. The instructions are done in pictures. It helps to have a little knowledge of how Bluetooth devices pair. And how these types of headsets operate. The instructions are easy to follow and I was up and running in a matter of a moment.

The case is slim and can fit lots of places, I appreciate this so much. The headphones fold up nice and easy to fit in the slim case. Lastly the sound quality is comparable if not better to other trendy brands and I cannot hear a thing when I wear them! The app makes it easy to set up as well. Awesome all around.

There are products that my ears are too large for so I was surprised they fit comfortably and still weren't bulky. Very sleek and compact storage case. Worked great with TV at night.

These are the best headphones I’ve ever had! The noise canceling is excellent and the sound quality is well worth it! The only downside is that some older Bluetooth devices may have some issues with connectivity. But any Bluetooth 5.0 is totally fine.

I work at a video conferencing company and work from home currently, so my headset and noise cancellation are super vital for my daily worklife. The speak-to-chat feature is extremely inconvenient and threw me off at first but once I disable it (either through the app or 2 fingers on the right headphone) it got way better. Pros: covering right headphone turning off noise cancellation is very convenient especially with wife and kids coming through the home office all day. Noise cancellation is some of the best I've encountered on a headset. Cons: The noise cancellation is so good I never hear my wife enter the room and she has figured that out and uses it as an excuse to scare the ever living crap out of me.... so some may also see this as a Pro. The only other thing is the speak to chat was very annoying and probably should be off by default.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones are super easy to connect through bluetooth since it pairs normally like other bluetooth headphones. These are by far the best noise-cancelling headphones I’ve had. I was able to completely cancel most, if not all, of the background noise with noise cancellation mode, including the noise from my air conditioner. There’s also an option to turn ambient sound on or off in addition to the noise cancellation option under the custom button. The touch sensor controls are simple and highly responsive. I was able to easily control my volume and pause/play/skip my music. Cupping my hand over the right ear cup also lets me turn on transparency mode to allow background noise in. These headphones also detect if I’m wearing them so it automatically pauses my music. These headphones are super comfortable to wear and have a great fit. It also comes with a case which keeps it nice and tidy with the divided sections for cables and the plug adaptor. Overall, these have easily become my number one favorite set of noise cancellation headphones because of the features and comfort it offers.

Purchased about a week ago and I’m overall satisfied. The sound quality doesn’t have that booming muddy bass feeling to it but the noise canceling is very effective and the overall quality is solid and crisp. They’re very comfortable and offer a strong selection of features and usability.
