XM4 FTW! The New Kings
Wow Just Wow, Sony Finally Did It. You know its a good headset when you just have to buy two pairs, the only other headphone I got twice was the HD650. Not even the QC35, nor the 700's made it to the double list, the XM3 got purchased and those I returned the same day due to dummy sound and that dummy cloth touching your ear inside the ear cups. This here, truly is one of the best things of 2020. Good Job Sony! Good Job!

Great Noise Cancelling and sound: nearly flawless
I have been using these headphones for nearly three months now. They are excellent and work as advertised. I purchased these primarily for the noise cancelling and for calls and video conferencing working from home. They deliver. People are unaware I'm on a headset when I'm using them. Once they have been paired with a device, they connect to them automatically and quickly. I have a total of four devices paired with them and switching is seamless. I have only two minor issues with them: As others have reported: i have what I think are average sized ears but they touch the inner fabric of the cups regardless of how I adjust them. It's not a deal breaker, but it is annoying. Just a minor increase in depth would fix this. The other is with the lack of aptX and aptX Low Latency support. For me, this impacts the quality of my experience with Bluetooth transmitters connected from other devices such as my Sony television and Bluray player when watching and listening to movies or television programs. The latency delay is quite noticeable. I would like to appeal to Sony to include this Codec in a future firmware update.

Best headphones I ever used
I bought these 3 months ago CASE FEELS PREMIUM headphones FEEL like cheap plastic but these handle extremely well I used these for GAMING if you want to chat you can just buy a aux with mic on it because these aren't gaming headphones but once you hook up a adapter you get all the amazing features these headphones have to offer plus you can game and chat with friends I watched movies listened to music and I have to say after trying premium limited edition crushers from skull candy beats solo 3s pros studios this is the best headphones I have ever used battery literally last forever and highs and lows are seriously forgiving especially once you hook up the sony headphones app I literally have no complaints A 1UP would be if it had water resistant or sweat resistant capabilities but you can have TOO MUCH PREMIUM but have it be sensitive I love these

Not as good as everyone says
Bought them because there were one of the most recommended headphones on the market right now, with the top of the art noise cancelling feature, but it is just rubbish, the work like a normal pair of headphones, dunno if is just a problem with mines, taking them to a retailer to compare.

Adjust the headset into a comfortable position. The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. Check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. Check the setting of the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient. I loved these!!!

I wasn't worried nor dud I hear anything except whatever I wanted to out of these headphones. They were really easyto charge and were a nice comfortable size. They were easy to pair with devices. I also loved how they were made as well as their case they go in. I would recommend these a thousand times over.

Noise Cancelling: Very good. As with all ANC headphones, you can tell that it is on. Have used on airplanes and while using a leaf blower. It does a good job minimizing ambient noises Call Quality: Poor. Sitting in a quiet room or walking outside on a calm day, several people have commented on the level of background noise or how hard it was to hear my voice. Sony needs to improve the background noise cancellation for phone calls.

Last time, about 10 yrs ago, I had a Sennheiser, which didn't really quite work in terms of ANC. And I got a second one with bluetooth, which was about the same, on top of that, the earpad peeled really badly. I would never buy a senh again. Until recently I started to have some bad guests in and out causing lots of noises, I started to do a lot of research and eventually bought XM4. Im very happy. Besides the bad guests, I live like under the flight path that I hear airplanes like every 5 min. But with XM4 on, I just never hear it again. Thanks to Sony. I appreciate the new tech.

Great Option for Multi Use
I LOVE these headphones, I like how versatile they are. i use them for gaming (wired mostly) and I have used them for video editing (both wired and wireless). I have had some stuttering and sound distortion when connected wireless to my Razer Blade (2021) when listening to Spotify. Not sure what this could be from, some input from Sony may be needed, but this has been my only real issue as of yet.

Inexplicable warbling
When these headphones are working properly, they've got the best sound quality of any modern, consumer headphones. Unfortunately, during every single use so far (each of the past 6 days since Christmas), out of nowhere, the sound either drops out or becomes distorted and this will last for several seconds or a couple of minutes. The problem will resolve itself only to return later. When I looked online for help, I saw that "wireless LAN" could cause interference, but at the same computer station, I have never had this problem with the Sony CH710 or the XB900N or their predecessors.
