I bought these Member's Mark Hatch Chile and Monterey Jack smoked sausage on a clearance special. They were I believe $5.50 a package. I went home and made these up in the air fryer, 400 for 10 minutes. At a 1/4 pound each they are massive and you are going to need larger hot dog buns or like a mini sub bun. They barely put off any fat from them, so they stay plump as well. The flavor is very good. I didn't encounter any gristle in them at all like many sausages have. My spice level is I eat ghost peppers. So the spice level in these is maybe a 0.05 at the most. But for the avg person I'd say they might be a 2-3 in spice level. The heat is definitely not coming from the hatch chile pepper, because they fall on the scale of less than some black pepper. It does say on the ingredients it has dehydrated jalapeño, so that is where the spicy flavor is coming from. The first one I ate I knew these were a freaking bargain at clearance of $1.83 a pound. I immediately went back to Sam's and bought 15 more packs to freeze. The package does say "Limited Time Offering" so I am guessing these were an experiment. Sadly, if an item ends up on clearance that fast, it usually won't return. I will enjoy all the ones I bought since they won't likely return. But if you're listening Sam's Club, if you keep them like they are and bring them back, I'd definitely be willing to step up and pay $8.00 a package. I think you really just to get them out as samples on the floor really. They would be fantastic in a jambalaya or gumbo.

Based on the other reviews I'm not sure if we got a bad batch or what, but we thought the texture was terrible. It was like having a mouthful of gristle. They were a tad spicy which we like, but thought they lacked in flavor. Overall these were a miss for us.

Great flavor ! great price! Bone fragments in all six links that I've cooked. My sausage loving hubby asked me to throw the other six away as he's afraid to break a tooth. What a shame. I've never had bone pieces in any sausage I've eaten in m6 70 years of life! Very disappointed.

I cooked these on the stove according to the stovetop directions. They were amazing! Juicy, cheesy and just the right amount of spice from the hatch chiles. I also like the fact they are sold in two separately sealed packages, so I don’t have to worry about cooking all of them right away. Next time we will grill them outside, but they’re awesome on the stove! I highly recommend!

I purchased these sausages after sampling in the store. They are unlike any other sausages I've tried. I expected spicy, but they're not so much spicy as they have a bit of a jalapeno taste on the front end and the hatch chile flavor on the back end. It's a great combination of flavors. These are also very large. Each sausage is a quarter pound. The packaging contains 2 packs of six links. I've cut these into coins and cooked with scrambled eggs for breakfast and also just heated up on a bun with no condiments. They are delicous and versatile. They have a great snap when you bite into them and are very juicy. I didn't notice the cheese and may not have if I hadn't noticed it on the package, but these are so flavorful that I would hope they would become a staple item at Sam's Club!

This product would be a good alternative to regular sausage. The Hatch Chile added a little bit of a kick to the overall flavor. Not a fan of the added cheese, to me it did not really add anything to the overall taste. Would recommend if you looking for something different for your BBQ or really anytime you want.

The Hatch chili sausage has a great flavor. It is not spicy at all, but does have the hatch taste. These were good for the grill on a quick weeknight dinner. We had some left over and cooked them in eggs for breakfast. It was delicious. The pops of cheese made it complete!

I made these on the grill and served family and friends. They were a hit. The sausage us uniquely flavored and is a good mix of spices. Some had them on a bun with or without condiments, but I enjoyed it all on its own. They are easy to cook and to serve. They are unique and would be perfect for summer grillouts.

I cooked my Hatch sausage on the grill. I could have used more green chili's in them, but the combination of flavors were excellent. I usually end up throwing some of the leftovers away, but they were so good they did not last in the refrigerator very long. I did not think they were very spicy. They were almost perfect. Just needed a little more of a kick.

I was also expecting it to be spicier, which would have been bad for my husband but good for me! It has great flavor and just a slight kick (husband said his mouth was tingly). We had it as sandwiches with sauerkraut, in a pasta dish, in an omelet and plain all by itself, it worked well in all dishes! Would be a really nice change on the grill as well.
