Superior job. Crew had a great team working ethic. Supervison was excellent by the lead worker and his supervisor. Professional action during all fazes of the operation and check out. Follow up visit was excellent in all regards. A pleasure to do business with these folks in our present time.

Overall this unit met all my expectations. It worked the first time it was turned on transferring to the load correctly and shutting off. The unit looks good next to the house and has very understandable features. The unit has just been installed so will have to see over time about reliability. I would recommend this product to anyone having reliability problems with their local electric utility.

Value for the price is extremely important in any purchase. My Generac #7043 not only gives me excellent value for the price but the support system for service is the long term plus. Being in business myself, it is a pleasure to be serviced by quality professionals support staff. From quote to installation to start-up , everyone was great with instructions and explaining the unit's features. Could not be happier with my new security blanket.

Finally have power peace of mine with the startup of a 22KW whole house generator. No more hassle of a portable generator with limited power and worrying about getting gasoline to keep it going. The generator has clean lines, and the wifi provides monitoring through our generac dealer. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Feel good about protecting my home and family from mother nature. With lots of generacs in our neighborhood feel good about selecting a proven, quality, reliable power solution.

After about 14 years or so, our 17KW crapped out. In simple terms, the stator self-destructed. Major, major costly repair. The local dealership that originally installed this 17KW quoted me a price to replace the generator. 17KW was no longer available, so they quoted me on the next size up. I believe it was on a 18 or 20KW. The price they quoted me was around $8,500.00. That was more than the original cost of the 17KW which included the transfer box(which would not need to be replaced) and connection to the propane tank. I searched around for another dealership and found one that had a 22KW in stock for $5,250.00. Installation included. So that’s what I went with. That was installed 6/20/18. Here it is September of 2021 and the generator failed. My mistake was to call in the same people who sold/installed the 17KW. They diagnosed it the next day, determined that the control board need to be replaced, however, since they did not install/replace the 22KW, they would not work on it. Here’s the summary. When I purchased the 22KW it came with a 5 year warranty, but after the first 3 years, the only things left on the warranty are the engine and alternator. I don’t care one way or the other. I just wanted it fixed. Come to find out Generac dealers/service companies are 3rd party. They can set their own guidelines/policies. No commitment or jurisdiction under Generac. So here’s where I stand. The dealership that sold me the 22KW will be here tomorrow. My advice to any potential buyers is beware. Not all Generac service companies appear to be equal. If they have internal policies that prevent them from servicing your generator, you may find yourself in a compromising situation. Don’t get me wrong. As long as it works, Generac stand-by generators are wonderful, but in MHO, if a company such as Generac certifies installation/ service companies, they should also be able to control service policies over these 3rd party companies.

Highly recommend Generac. Excellent quality and value. While there are compeitors in the home standy generator business. No one focuses soley in the generator market and puts the technolgy and engineering into its products like Generac. Extremely pleased. Generac has the largest market share in the Generator market for a reason. You can’t go wrong choosing Generac over other brands.

Surprise storm popped up and power went out. Within about thirty seconds the Generac had fired up and everything was back to normal. Daughter and family camped out with us overnight. I was probably informed; but forgot that only one a/c would operate at a time. Ran upstairs a/c and cool air trickled down. Generac was a bit loud; but loud and cool beats quiet and hot every time.

We had our 22Kw generator installed last fall just in time for hurricane season. The Carolina's get a lot of hurricanes that affect the inland areas as well as the coast. Plus our ice storms cause a lot of power outages. It is really reassuring having the Generac. We can stay cool in the heat and warm when cold.

Our next door neighbors own a whole-house Generac 22kW generator installed by this company several years ago. We noted both the reliability of the product itself and the service provided by Absolute over the years, making our decision to go with Generac and Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions a relatively easy one.

After many power outages in 2020 we decided to purchase a generator. We chose Metro Electric to install it because they had the best presentation. It was installed on May 26, 2021. It was a rainy day but the electrician and plumber had tent coverings so they could proceed as planned. When they came into the house they had foot coverings so as not to track in any dirt. We felt they were very professional and knowledgeable. When the electrician was done, he came in to explain the Operating and Maintenance Binder. It said our generator would come on every Wednesday at 12 p.m. and on 6-2-21 it came on at 12 p.m. And on 6-9-21 we had a very short power outage in the morning and the generator immediately came on and then again at 12p.m. We are very pleased with the installation and especially the power outage start. That was great evidence that our system was working.
