- 5 out of 5 stars review1/1/2021I just received this generator as a Christmas present to provide electricity during any local power outages. Assembly is minimal, quick and easy. Easy to get running - add oil/gas, turn fuel valve, choke and then pull and go. Easy to start and runs well. While it is heavy, it has wheels to allow it to be rolled around without having to lift the whole unit. Good buy given nice features, ease of use, and compact size.

Easy setup, simple instructions. I ran it for 30 minutes today to make sure all was well. I am very pleased. I have not put it to good use, but I am very happy so far.

Gasoline leaked at the fuel valve. It turned out that there was a crack on fuel hose. Instead of of returning to the store, I replaced the hose. Afterward, generator started up on the first pull. Everything seems to run fine, but so far, I ran the generator for only 1 hour with no load for breaking in.

My electrician recommended Westinghouse and I see why - works great and is compact! I plan on only running essentials (well, boiler, refrigerator and freezer) and I am confident this will handle more. The included wheels are a bonus and I don't have to worry about filling them with air. I like that you can choose a model with or without a battery - I chose without since I didn't want to add more weight or another thing to take care of. Bring it on, mother nature!

In general, I think this generator is an incredible value. It arrived with slight damage, a minor scratch and dent in the frame. I don't care about that because I think the packaging was adequate and, while I take care of my gear, I don't baby it. Generators get used, and that sort of minor damage is inconsequential to me. Slightly more consequential is that it arrived with with one of the clips for a the air filter bent. I haven't bent it back or replaced it yet because the other clip does an adequate job of keeping to cover on the air filter. This issue is a bigger deal than the dent in the frame, but still not something I'm terribly concerned about. Ie., not worth...

We had recently been experiencing heavy rain and our sump pump was working overtime; the short power outage was not fun, manually pumping the sump! I'm prepared now! It did arrive a little later than predicted and a little beat-up (recoil starter cover bent from hit to box). But happy to have purchase this.

It's duel fuel and comes with propane connections, an oil fill tube and spark plug wrench. I will have to purchase the necessary power cords. It has wheels and a drag handle..
