Excellent!! The unit came sooner than expected, thank you Walmart. The generator came nicely packed, was easy to put the wheels on, and, once everything was set, it fired right up. I have faith in Westinghouse. My area is looking at an icing event, Im excited I have backup for power.

It is everything it says. Easy setup, great directions. Started on first try with the electric start. I am a 77 yr old female, my husband is on oxygen with high liters and we needed a back up if a power failure. It has a gas gauge to let you know how much fuel left in plain sight. We looked at a lot of generators and this one had everything we needed. We didn't need a real big one, however we wanted the electric start and most smaller ones had only a pull start, this one has both. It is big enough to run everything we need to run.

This item seems to be a very good purchase. It showed up a lot sooner than expected which was a pleasant surprise. now we will be ready the next time the power goes out.

What a powerhouse! We love our portable generator with electric start! My husband travels so when I need to use a generator I was often SOL. However, with Westinghouse's portable generator with electric start I'm able to complete any chore that needs to be done! Cannot be happier with this generator. The price was beautiful compared to Lowe's and amazon! The wheels that come with the generator enables me to be able to transfer this generator anywhere on the property. Thank you Westinghouse

After several power failures decided I needed a generator. Several reviews later I picked the Westinghouse WGen5300sc Generator with CO Sensor. I picked it; !) for the reliable Westinghouse name; 2) it has an electric start (tired of pulling to start equipment; 3) it has wheels; 4) bang for the buck. Unpacked I found it to be well constructed, a heavy piece but those wheels make it easy to move. I love the fact that after reading and following the instructions I hit the electric start and boom, fired right up, no need to resort to the backup pull/recoil starter, but glad it's there. A solid piece built to last!

The electric start and easy start up make set/start up a breeze! The noise level is what you would expect, but isn't too loud. Run time is as advertised and powers everything we needed and more. It is great that it comes with the wheel kit as most other brands that has to be purchased separately.

I purchased as a backup for the, more frequent than I like, outages. This unit runs my fridge, mini-split heat pump, internet, tv, some lights, and my garage door circuit. I appreciate that it came with the exact amount of oil needed, and the adaptor/funnel that screws directly into the crankcase. Starting with the included battery is about as easy as it gets. I hope to get many years of service out of this generator, and have no reason to believe I won't.

Easy to assemble and started right up. Hope it lasts a while

Bought in anticipation of Hurricane season. Connected by Electrician directly to Well. Went with Electric start for 1st time. Easy operation depicted, but time will tell. Arrived with small "dent" in top cage bar, but generator itself not effected (hopefully).

I just received the generator. I will set it up and put the oil in and run it as soon as possible. I wanted to be prompt in registering the generator and qualify for the free cover for the generator. I like the wheels & stand and electric start. Once I get it running I will gladly give and full & complete review.
