The electric start and easy start up make set/start up a breeze! The noise level is what you would expect, but isn't too loud. Run time is as advertised and powers everything we needed and more. It is great that it comes with the wheel kit as most other brands that has to be purchased separately.

I just received my WGen5300DFcv for my birthday. I really love the dual fuel option. This allows me options to have both ready at the drop of a hat. If I'm out of one, I'll surely have the other. The propane running wattage is a slight bit lower but factor in cleaner burning for the carb and actually is quieter to run. All around excellent product. Now I'm waiting for my next outage. Extra bonus for the threaded funnel to fill the oil. Great touch guys!

I purchased as a backup for the, more frequent than I like, outages. This unit runs my fridge, mini-split heat pump, internet, tv, some lights, and my garage door circuit. I appreciate that it came with the exact amount of oil needed, and the adaptor/funnel that screws directly into the crankcase. Starting with the included battery is about as easy as it gets. I hope to get many years of service out of this generator, and have no reason to believe I won't.

I just received the generator. I will set it up and put the oil in and run it as soon as possible. I wanted to be prompt in registering the generator and qualify for the free cover for the generator. I like the wheels & stand and electric start. Once I get it running I will gladly give and full & complete review.

After several power failures decided I needed a generator. Several reviews later I picked the Westinghouse WGen5300sc Generator with CO Sensor. I picked it; !) for the reliable Westinghouse name; 2) it has an electric start (tired of pulling to start equipment; 3) it has wheels; 4) bang for the buck. Unpacked I found it to be well constructed, a heavy piece but those wheels make it easy to move. I love the fact that after reading and following the instructions I hit the electric start and boom, fired right up, no need to resort to the backup pull/recoil starter, but glad it's there. A solid piece built to last!

I BOUGHT THIS GENERATOR LAST MONTH, FOR HURRICANE SEASON. FORTUNATELY.... I HAVE NOT HAD TO USE IT. I HAVE PUT GAS, OIL, AND A BATTERY CHARGER ON IT. SO, I AM READY! THERE ARE SEVERAL TROPICAL DISTURBANCES BREWING! I LIVE ON THE FLORIDA EAST COAST. I AM CONFIDENT THAT ME AND MY FAMILY WILL BE ABLE TO HANDLE ANY POWER OUTAGES!

I bought this yesterday. It took about 15 minutes to assemble wheels, feet fill with oil supplied and gas. It started up rate away. So much easier to start the my Honeywell generate that you have to pull the rope. Now all I have to do is push the starter button and it's starts rate up and a lot quieter then my Honeywell generator

Just purchased this generator for future power outages that occasionally occur in our area. Very impressed with the indepth manual and parts schematics that came with it. May be a while before it's needed to help power houshold items so can't say how well it works, but confident the generator will meet our needs

I like this generator. It is light and easy to get around. At 5300 watts and 6600 peak it meets my needs as a back-up for power outage. It is so much quieter that my 27 yr old Generac. Got to like the elect start and there is an hour meter. Good buy at a fair price.

Haven't had to use it yet, (thank goodness) but it started like a dream.
