The generator came nicely packed, was easy to put the wheels on, and, once everything was set, it fired right up. I have faith in Westinghouse.

Lots of power for it's size, more than adequate for an emergency back-up generator for a house with a generator interlock switch set up. Very happy with this purchase.

As I approach 60 years of age, I'm finding it difficult to pull start my 35 year old generator. After a fair amount of research, I bought this WGen5300c. The electric start was my main consideration. It's slightly more powerful than the old one, it's a smaller overall size and it has some nice added features such as fuel gauge, digital multifunction display and a wheel kit. Even the 220v is a higher amp. Almost looking forward to the next power outage.

It is everything that this products overview stated. It runs not as loud as most generators and easy to start which I love as a person with arthritis it really helps that easy start. Overall this is a great generator and the price is also great.

I have 5 acres that I am fencing and there is no power on the property. I used it multiple hours for several days and was able to complete my fence. I was surprised at the low noise level. Seems to be a solid machine. 5 stars from me.

Found the Wgen5300s to best fit my needs. Got it home and took out of box, filled with gas and oil, started on the first press of the switch! Shut it down and used the manual start just to test and started right up. Runs easy and way more power than I currently need which is what I wanted. Sturdy construction and still compact enough for easy mobility and storage.

The funnel provided for adding the the oil made this task a breeze and no mess! The generator started on the 2nd pull and the data center made it easy to verify that the generator was producing the correct voltage before I attached it to my power transfer switch. Ran it unloaded for one hour per the instructions and then transferred load to it. Was pleasantly surprised with the relatively low noise level while running loaded.

In all it took about 30 minutes from unboxing to cranking it up. Great unit, not too loud. Next day let it run for about an hour to break in engine per instructions. Haven't attached any power cords yet. Will do at a later date.

The storms across the country have become increasingly more severe and knowing that we have a backup for electricity makes us feel secure. It's easy to use, convenient, propane or gasoline makes a good option, and my wife likes the cobalt Westinghouse blue!

Generator was easy to get up and running and produces power. I have not yet tried to power our house. Only issue is that there was damage to the air filter assembly, which will need to be replaced, probably from shipping.

After a lot of attempts, it started to run, but kept shutting off. Difficult to purchase due to demand. Everything was in the box and the set-up was very simple. Started right away and ran it for an hour moving it to different locations around the outside of my house to check noise inside. Ran smooth and was very quiet. Have yet to attach any appliances so not sure what it will do. Am hopeful.
So far...so good.
