Assembly was easy although the model is hard to move until you get the wheels on. Adding oil is easy enough although the place to add the oil is kind of recessed and you will have to be careful to not strip the threads on the plastic funnel. Start up with the electric start was easy. The generator is loud but I believe they all are. I haven't used it yet in an actual power outage but this should have plenty of wattage to handle my frig, a few lights and my microwave. I will probably have to turn off the electric water heater but that 's okay. I do like that the box gives you the approx. wattage for different appliances. We ha...

Filled with gasoline; Started on 1st pull....... Making electricity within a few seconds. Not as noisy as other generators this size. Makes 120vac and 240vac. For my purposes: I needed both voltages. My R.V. has a unique water heater that requires 240vac.... Nice looking and well engineered generator.

It wouldn't start, gunked carb from possibly a bit of gas left in it after testing. We decided to get a push start with wheels, the wgen5300s. Started right up! I think it will be perfect to have around for emergencies!

The motor is a little noisy, but not as loud as other generators. I really like the gauges on it that tell me the voltage and hours. This little thing is going to be an awesome addition to our house when the power goes out. It is certainly a workhorse. Very pleased so far!

Outsourcing power was turn of and back on every few others for 2 days. This generator was so easy to move in and out of our house fir use. Started right up each time with the touch of a button. It was really noisy at all either.

So far the only thing I have a problem with is the fuel hose behind the airfilter. As im adding fuel to the generator to start it up for the first time i see fuel puddling up under the generator, the leak is from what looks like a fuel hose that goes behind the air filter. =/ I hope this will be covered under the warranty.

This Generator will run them all without issue, and can also run a microwave and air fryer simultaneously. This was really surprising to me --- That and the fact that it is electric start made this a no brainer for me. For the money, this generator can not be beat!

This generator has a transfer switch ready for my home backup. It will also run for over 13 hours with one fill up.

We were extremely disappointed when we discovered that within a minute or less of being started it shuts off. Neighbors tried to help but to no avail, even someone who is good with small engine repairs tried to get it started. They suspect there may be an issue with the carburetor. This is brand new and with all the great reviews we are disappointed to be sitting here without power.

The previous generator would fail to start in Michigan winters. This 5300 seemed to have the best features for the money. The setup was straight forward and easy to follow. I was very pleased that it started on the FIRST pull. And it runs relatively quiet, at least to me!

I expected it to be louder than it was, but pleasantly surprised it was less-than obnoxious. Definitely recommend buying the L14 cord in order to get the full 40A worth of power @120V into your house. My only negative is the 120/240V selector switch is one-way - can only use the L14 plug at 240V, and only use the other plugs at 120V (thought they would all be available - oh well). I had no trouble getting it started (test run before a coming ice storm). Hasn't been through a long-term run yet, but anticipate it performing well. Satisfied so far.

I am able to run the refrigerator, computer (and modem and router) and tv all at the same time. It has a lot of features and is well designed and put together very well. I picked this size for a balance between fuel economy and power. I appreciate its mobility and reasonable weight (135 pounds). And the auto start is a great feature for us older folks.
