Took less than 15 minutes for the setup! (And that included opening the box) Came with the needed tools AND the oil! What a deal! Just add gas and go with the push of a button! The sweet remote is going to be awesome in the winter when I look out the window and push to start! Best investment!

There was some minor scuffing on the bottom of the frame which would impact rust resistance for unfavorable environments but not an issue for me. It came with a wheel kit that wasn't too difficult to put on. It just needed to be propped up on something to get the wheels on. once that was done the cushioned feet were easy to install by just tipping the unit up using the wheels as pivot points. Oil and an oil addition funnel with a tube came with the unit. Adding oil was simple but does require the funnel and tube since the addition point is recessed somewhat under the frame. Gasoline leaked at the fuel valve. It turned out that there was a crack on fuel hose. Instead of of returning to the store, I replaced the hose. Afterward, generator started up on the first pull. Everything seems to run fine, but so far, I ran the generator for only 1 hour with no load for breaking in.

While this is a complex machine, the instructions are very clear and understandable. Very simple to start. I use it to furnish power to a small building, as needed. In order to meet code, please have a certified electrician hook this generator to a building. A detachable hook-up cord does not come with the generator.

Tried electric start and got nothing but clicking noise. Tried pull start and it was totally froze-could not pull the engine over. Took it back and ordered another. Second one got here, went through the set up process, FOB start worked, push button start worked. Tried the pull start and the rewind did not work. One pull and I had to take cover off to rewind by hand. Tried it a few times. Doesn't rewind. Have to keep it because we need it for the week. Will be contacting customer service. Hope they can just send a new rewind. Runs great after started. Will have a better idea of how it does after powering the homestead...

Great generator after using this one for almost 24 hours! Pretty easy to put the feet & 2 wheels on.. Takes probably 5 minutes to install. We used this generator about 2 hours after buying it had to add oil... Which it comes with & will take the entire bottle & gas. After adding all that & reading the book we let is run about 2 hours before adding any plugs or appliances to the generator. The book says to let it run for up to 25 hours before adding appliances but we crossed out fingers & ran it for 2 hours & worked great. No problems at all with this one. First time buyer & this one is worth it.

The shipping box was damaged on the outside but there is absolutely no damage or dings on the engine where the box was torn. The instructions are well written and the regular maintenance isn't difficult. I'm finally ready for the next prolonged power outage!

This is a very well made product with a sturdy frame and all the electrical outlets I would ever need. With heavy duty wheels and handle too. The motor is easy starting and runs smoothly. The operation manual is excellent - very inclusive. As a former tech writer, I'm impressed with the well written English text and easy to follow headings and illustrations. There's even a section on removing the generator form the box. This is an excellent product for the money.

The directions didn't tell you how much oil to add, but I used the entire bottle that was included. I haven't actually run this generator during a power outage but I did run it for about 10 minutes to make sure that it would run. Everything seems great so I can't wait to use it!

The power goes off quite a bit around here and I want something dependable. This unit starts right up and runs much quieter than my old generator. It is also more compact. I love it. Super simple to assemble with the included wrench. Put on the feet and wheels, fill with oil (included) gas it up and your ready to go.

Had to hold back a star because I don't think the oil was drained for shipping it literally was covered in it, bleeding into the cardboard, but it's for outside use so I rubbed it in for a rust protectant.
