Bought this to be prepared for NC snowstorms so I could have peace of mind for my toddler. Excited about the dual fuel option. Started up no trouble on gas. Haven't tried propane yet. Lots of options when it comes to power and plenty to take care of our needs!

I purchased this generator yesterday and after unpacking, adding oil, connecting my propane, and connecting battery I was able to start the generator with the push button and with the remote Bob…great! It performed as advertised, right out of the box. The features are exactly what I needed. I'm a 78 year old senior and the electric start will be much appreciated. 100%satisfied.

I bought this a few months ago. I would definitely have gone with a higher wattage model. It has worked well, except for the last time I used it. It had a hard time turning on. I think its the spark plug, but mine didn't come with a spark plug socket so I'm contacting customer care to hopefully ship me one. If that fixes the issue, then I would recommend the product.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago. I haven`t had to use it yet for no power. But I did want to make sure it worked. Put the oil, gas and connected the battery and it cranked right up. We love it . Not to loud. We`re ready now for when the power goes out.

Generator was purchased about a week ago before forecasted Winter storm. Generator setup was straight forward and completed in less than 2 hours. Setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. One setup recommendation is to very slowly fill the engine oil to avoid spillage. Generator started at first attempt and passed all my pre-storm tests. Power was lost not during storm, and full power backup routine was not experienced. This generator replaced an older generator that needs a rebuild. This generator plugged into existing power backup cords and setup. Minor issue: One of air filter clips arrived broken out of box.

I bought this becuase I am disabled and this Westringhouse 5300 W has an electric starter My electricirty is turned off quite often in California and I needed something to keep the house going. Most outages begin later in the evening and this Westinghouse will start right up.. Real super easy to set up and operate.

I bought this generator 3 years ago. I bought it because it was universal between propane and gas, owner of 2 other gas generators I felt I was missing a propane. It has come in hand as I have ran out of gasoline but living in the country , we always have propane on hand.

Purchased for hurricane power outages. I was excited to try it when our power went out after Isaias went through. I prepared by filling the oil and adding gas. It started and ran fine for a couple of hours but produced no electrical output - so I shut it down and lived with the heat and no power to our two fridges - we even went out that afternoon to buy bags of ice to try and save our food - luckily power came back on later that evening. I will now need to try and get it fixed before the next hurricane runs through our area.
