This is a really good generator and I am pleased with the purchase. This is our second unit and we use it for power outage. It has enough power for a freezer, 2 fridges, lights, two fans and lasts 9-10 hours on a full gas tank. The noise level is not bad - much better than our old unit. Highly recommended.

Bought this generator for my elderly mother. Working like a charm so far! Easy to set up, engine starts like a dream (using the electric start, which was a MUST for her, and which frequently doesn't work on most generators), and gives an amazing amount of runtime for its gas consumption. I've also heard that the customer service team is excellent, though luckily I have had no need to test that for myself. One minor issue: The exhaust pipe is covered, and surrounded by a spark arrestor frame. So while I really want to add an extension to funnel exhaust completely out of the shed, I don't have enough available pipe to clamp an extension onto. I get why the team capped and covered the pipe, but this is an issue for a generator that produces a *huge* amount of carbon monoxide - like, it will fill a small space instantly with fumes that can kill you quickly.

With the rolling blackouts, this is a great safety purchase for the house. Plenty of wattage, comes with wheels, well built/sturdy, and clear instructions on the maintenance. Very easy to use, built to last with regular maintenance. Love the thoughtful functional design and utility. Generator comes in clutch.

Extremely well built generator with loads of power. Very long run time on full take of gas. I love the electric start and the swing up handle and wheels make it easy to move. It even comes with its own oil! I recommend this generator over all others!

This is my second one .... First one wouldnt stay running took it to repair shop authorizes by Westinghouse they had it for a month couldn't get it to work . Westinghouse sent a new unit fired it up ran great. Put unit away 2 months later have a power failure pulled it out started it ran it for 5 mins plugged in my trailer it stalled and will not restart.

its perfect for our family.We live in texas and we lose power couple times a year.its perfect for unpredictable power outages.easy to use.i learned how to hook it up myself so when my husband is away i can do it on my own.its not too loud either.we used it for a while to see how it works.Im really happy with my purchase!

Just finished my 1 hour break in period. Alternator cover was bent in slightly, I straightened it back out with no difficulty. I liked that break in was only 1 hour. Will change oil at 25 hours per manual. Nice that it came with oil and funnel. Started right up. Everything good so far.

Boyfriend bought this for my house because we are always losing power in the area. He checked out many generators and after reviewing them all he said that the Westinghouse unit is the one to go with. The generator is easy to use and start. He hooked up a transfer box that I just run the twist lock cord to and throw a switch and we have power to the building. I was happy to find out that it powers almost everything in the house.

I bought this generator a few month ago so I'll be ready for hurricane season I got to use it the other day and it ran very good and not to loud for the size compare to other brands and model. It gives more than enough watts to power my whole house except the AC unit but a portable AC unit will. I have two big refrigerators fans lights so 5300 watt is more than enough and it give 14.5 hours of run time with less than 5 gallons that's very good for me. I ran it in the 120v but if you want to use the 240 30amp outlet you will need to shut the unit off in order to make the change and once I did that i try to restarted and it took a few try's and that's the bad thing I found on this unit is that if you have to shut it off and then start it again is going to take quite a few pulls to get to start again. But I believe is a good generator for the price and how much Wattage it outputs compared to other brands and models.

This is our first generator. We looked at many of them and decide on this one. We picked it up and brought it home. The directions were easy to follow for assembly and set up. Started on the fourth pull and let it run for one hour. Will check it over and have it ready for use during our next power outage. Great looking generator.
