I bought this generator to run our garage freezer and refrigerator when we have bad thunderstorms or the occasional ice storm. I am not especially mechanically minded, but the set up instructions were clear and easy. I had it ready to fire up within 15 minutes. It started on the very first pull. I let it run for an hour as recommended and then plugged in the freezer. No problems. It seems to handle everything with ease. I can't comment on durability, as I just got it and have only run it the one time, but it looks and feels to be very sturdy. I've been very pleased.

The generator worked immediately right out of the box. Plenty of power to run multiple devices including a window ac and a refrigerator during our major power outage. My family and I are very pleased with this emergency purchase. We recently went through hurricane Beryl her in Texas and we lost power during the height of the storm for 4 brutal days with temperatures around 90F! I hope we do not have another hurricane, but I am happy to have this unit taking up truly little space in our garage and knowing it will start if and when I need it! Overall, this a good generator for emergency use and I recommend this investment to anyone looking for emergency power during a hurricane.

I ordered this generator during an ice storm. Purchased on a Thursday and received it Monday. Power was restored before it arrived but super fast shipping. Box was undamaged and came with everything it said it would. Even comes with a wheel kit which is a huge bonus. Hopefully I don't need this for a power outage during an ice storm but I'm sure it will live up to its promise. Cheap enough to not break the break but good enough to do what needs done. Happy with purchase

I purchased this back in November just before cold weather hit. Due to high winds we have been out of power at least 3 times and up to 2 days. This generator was wonderful! First, I only had to refuel once after 20 hours. It kept my fridge running, kitchen lights, 3 lamps, TV, and two separate electric heaters. It comes with a multi-plug so you don't have to run wires everywhere and I can actually move it anywhere myself - it's not super heavy and it has an easy grip handle/bar so you can roll it around on its back wheels without breaking your back. Only thing I could possible complain about is it's a bit loud, but you get use to the sound.

Just bought it, had it put together in minutes, Great instruction. Hard to find Dual fuel. I hooked it up to a LP tank and fired it up. Ran great and wasn't near a loud as my other generator.Very Happy with this purchase You need to let more people know about it, Dual Fuel

I bought this unit on May 5th it was delivered on the 13th. Set it up this morning and checked it out, every thing seems to be fine. It has electric start so after I put on the wheels and front feet and added the oil, connected the battery all I had to do was push the start switch and in a matter of seconds the generator came to life. I let it run a bit before I tried quite a few different appliances. The generator handled all with no problem. I only put in less than a gallon of gas and since I do not need the unit now [ bought this for emergency power outages ] I let the unit run until the gas ran out, which took over two hours to run out. I think this will be exactly what we need if we lose power. Quite easy for this 75 year old man to handle and move around. well made generator, made by a famous old name company westinghouse

The generator was delivered today. Easy assembly of the wheel/pad kit, added oil and gas, plug in the battery - ready to go. The only negative is that one of the two air filter brackets had a bent hook and a broken latch. It started easily - the battery had a good charge - I tested by powering a refrigerator - no change in the motor speed when the compressor kicked in.

I bought this to give my family a little more peace of mind in the current trying situation. We often have power outages during spring and summer storms and have lost substantial amounts of food due to extended loss of power. I'm confident that this generator will help lessen the stresses of power loss.

We live in an all electric house now so I bought a generator as back up for power outages. This unit is a great combination of features. It has 5300 and running watts and electric start. It was furnished with the battery and with oil which many other generators are not. It has the power to run enough things to get through a power outage. The only negative is that it's a little bit louder than I would've liked but it's still not too bad. I think it's going to be a great generator.

Generator arrived undamaged, directions easy to follow, no tools needed. Added the supplied oil, some gas and it started right up. Nice functionality on the connector panel, both 220 and 120V outputs (you can't use both at once though, there is a switch).
