I just purchased this generator due to recent power failure from a storm I had borrowed a smaller generator to save our food in the refrigerator and this one is quieter than the smaller one. No problems at this time starts and runs fine. I love the electric start.

This was a good price for all the features you get. It was easy to set up and this model came with a wheel kit. Many others don't. It seems sturdy and is heavy, so you need wheels to be able to move it. We had to cut the box just to get it out. We haven't run it yet but did a lot of research on portable generators and this has enough power for running our refrigerator and some minor appliances during a power outage. The blue and black color looks nice too.

I have been shopping for a 5K generator for over a month and looked at several brands and models. The Westinghouse WGen series are by far some of the most well built I've seen. I bought the WGen5300sc. Put oil and gas in it, I started on the second pull. The frame construction is heavy duty. The components are mounted securely and the wiring is neat and tidy. Overall it shows great craftsmanship. While I've not used it much the craftsmanship of the generator leaves me confident it is a dependable unit.

I bought this generator to supply power at home for the occasional outage. Large refrigerator freezer, small refrigerator, microwave, internet for phone, and lights. As someone that has worked with machinery and engines most of my adult life, I appreciated the quality, sturdy construction, and fit and finish of this product. I have read the instructions (well written), added the oil and gasoline and proceeded to begin the break-in period. Easy start and runs strong. I have confidence this will meet my future needs

I did d a lot of research before purchasing the WGen5300s, it had tons of great reviews across the internet. I am very happy with its size and various outlets. One of the best features is the electric start it's so easy my 10 year old starts it up no problem. Check out this generator if you are looking for solid performance at a realistic price.

Beautiful machine, great quality build, my favorite part is how compact this generator is, it fits in the bed of my truck with the cover over the bed and has more than enough power to operate our jack hammer on the job or our house in a storm. 10/10!

Bought this generator knowing it weighed 148#, was hoping I would be able to move it where needed when the time comes. Widow lady with a bad back and this thing is so well balanced that it is no problem at all. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, hopefully never will, but glad I have it after the last outage. Thanks for a great generator!

We bought unit (serial number 53FO823B2734) on 11-11-23 which did not produce power. Westinghouse replaced that unit with this one which seems to be running fine as we have tested it and are breaking it in. Please update your records to show new serial # 53DO723B304. We did not receive the cover yet. Please send that.

I bought this generator this week and love it. The price point compared to other brands was competitve and has a greater running and peak watt rate. Also love that it is dual gas and propane incase you do not have access to one. The wheels and handle make it very eay to roll around to get into a proper position for powering things up. Would buy again!

Perfect experience. It comes with the tools needed to put the wheels on and then some. A little bag is included to store them in! Oil is included! Plus the battery (for electric start) self charges when it is running. Not all generators do that believe it or not. I couldn't be happier with how Westinghouse thought of everything. Sounds crazy but I can't wait for the power to go out again so I can just smirk at Mother Nature as I push a button to start our new generator.
