I just purchased this item. This is my first generator. It came with the wheels which is a big plus. It also came with the oil. Which was also great because I hate to go to the store not sure if I got the correct oil. The instructions are understandable. That is a important point for me.

Just bought it, had it put together in minutes, Great instruction. Hard to find Dual fuel. I hooked it up to a LP tank and fired it up. Ran great and wasn't near a loud as my other generator.Very Happy with this purchase You need to let more people know about it, Dual Fuel

Love this generator. I shopped around for a couple of weeks before deciding on this one . Great power for it's size . It runs the fridge , AC window unit and everything else we need to survive another hurricane power outage . One of my neighbors saw it and went out immediately to get himself one. Westinghouse, thank you for an outstanding product !!

I bought this unit on May 5th it was delivered on the 13th. Set it up this morning and checked it out, every thing seems to be fine. It has electric start so after I put on the wheels and front feet and added the oil, connected the battery all I had to do was push the start switch and in a matter of seconds the generator came to life. I let it run a bit before I tried quite a few different appliances. The generator handled all with no problem. I only put in less than a gallon of gas and since I do not need the unit now [ bought this for emergency power outages ] I let the unit run until the gas ran out, which took over two hours to run out. I think this will be exactly what we need if we lose power. Quite easy for this 75 year old man to handle and move around. well made generator, made by a famous old name company westinghouse

We live in an all electric house now so I bought a generator as back up for power outages. This unit is a great combination of features. It has 5300 and running watts and electric start. It was furnished with the battery and with oil which many other generators are not. It has the power to run enough things to get through a power outage. The only negative is that it's a little bit louder than I would've liked but it's still not too bad. I think it's going to be a great generator.

I am really happy with the Westinghouse 5300 duel fuel generator I purchased because dealing with propane power is very easy. With my last generator, I had to deal with harsh gasoline and thoroughly cleaning up the tiny spillage here and there upon refilling the thing with a gas can (which also permeats the air with fumes). The Westinghouse is great.

I bought this generator a couple weeks ago after we just had a bad storm that knocked out our power for a few days. This should keep us up and running if it ever happens again. Lots of features. Plenty of power for the necessities. It was delivered right to my house and was easy to assemble. Only had to put on the feet and wheels. Haven't had to use it yet but so far looks to be a great product.

I received unit 1-25-24. Easy startup guide took approximately 30 minutes. Cranked unit manually 1st pull fired up. Shutdown and did electric start, all power ports work great. Shut fuel valve and let carb run dry, unit took approximately 1minute with no heavy surge or knocking. Highly recommend Westinghouse

This generator packs a lot of power and the electric start is a must-have!! Can easily be maneuvered by one person; however, it does weigh 107 pounds w/o fuel, so I'd recommend two people when lifting or lowering from an elevated surface. Great value and highly recommend.

I just got this as a Christmas present. It was really easy to assemble (very little assembly required) and easy to set-up. After a few pulls of the rope, the generator started right up. It's not as loud as some generators I've heard. We are thankful that the next time a storm strikes we'll be ready.
