Arrival as promised. No problems with getting out of the box. Battery started the unit very quickly and easily. I do a monthly start up and have not had to use the product during outages. (no outages so far here)... Very happy with the push button start.

The generator started OK the first day. It started up again when I refueled. But after the first day (2 hours running time) I haven't been able to start it. I would have waited until I got a new spark plug (or whatever else needs to be fixed) before writing a review, but they wanted a review as part of registering the warranty.

I just purchased this following the tail winds of a Hurrican that knocked power out in our area for 5 days. Living in New England it gets cold at nite and we had not power. I needed something to be ready, reliable, powerful to run the house and easy to start since I am a women. This met all my requirements.

Bought this for hurricane season and unexpectedly needed it 3 months later when the power was out for a week due to Hurricane Beryl. Worked great no thanks to the instruction manuel. If I had any mechanical knowledge I would have known it there was inaccurate steps, but it took usage and the internet to make me realize what was wrong. Knowing what I am doing now makes it a very nice generator for what we need. Highly recommended.

Within a month of buying this generator, the power went out for 2 days with a hurricane. This machine ran like a champ & ran everything in my house, excluding range & dryer. At one point. I did not have the machine get enough air & it shut down with the CO2 monitor & red light was flashing. The sensor is a great thing to have. As soon as I better positioned the generator, it started right up & ran properly.

I purchased this Generator on 9/1/2023. I've only had to use it once (for 3 days) and was very impressed. It powered my Refrigerator, A/C unit, Furnace, 70 inch TV, several outlets and lights. I highly recommend this product. It powered all the necessities in my 1500 sq. ft. house.

We were at 1st concerned when the generator arrived in a box seeing we are in our 70's but once opened and directions read/followed we were abled to assemble the legs and wheels with no problem. After adding the oil, some gas and connecting the battery the generator started right up. We were shocked to say the least that two seniors with no mechanical skills got it to work.

Westinghouse has been around a long time for a good reason. Quality product that is affordable. This is my second Westinghouse generator. I have the WH7000E that I use at my home in California and it has worked flawless for the past 5 years plus. This one will be the backup and my travel generator.

I purchased this Generator to replace the one I have had since 2004. I am very pleased with my purchase. I removed it from the carton, put wheels and feet on it. Put oil in the engine, added gas. I wanted to go on and run it for 1 hour for the break end time. Started on the 1st pull, engine running is a great sound. It is not as loud as others I have seen, After running for an hour I stop generator and put it away. Two days later I got it out, started on 1st pull, put a full load on unit and it performed the way I expected it would, outstanding. Thank you for making a product that performs very well. I expect to have this generator for many years to come.

Just bought the WGen5300s through the local Menard's. The generator arrived in good shape, no dings or missing parts. I've run it through it's break-in cycle and tested it with small test loads. It has performed without a problem. Bought if as insurance when the power goes out. Hopefully I won't need it.
