Bought this generator to help out in case we lose power again in the winter. So far it seems to run well. Haven't hooked it up to the house or ran necessary items yet, so I can't give a full 5 stars yet. But so far I have no reason to think it will give me any trouble!

Took 10 days to have delivered. We had bad storm that left us without SWEPO for 4 days. We borrowed a generator for lights & refrigerator. No A/C. It was hot, close to 100 deg. Unboxed generator. Assembled, hooked up to propane. Started up perfectly. This one will run a small window A/C plus other necessities.

fast shipping arrived within 4 working days. basically put the wheels on, filled with oil that was provided & filled with gas. plugged it in, choked it for a second & pushed the start button started right up. love..love love it. checked it after turning off main breaker to house & had no problem running furnace a couple of lights TV & refrigerator, but it will run the whole house & not break the bank buying it. Best purchase weve made in a long time.

I bought this generator after my 22 year old generator finally died. I cannot believe how upgraded generators have become with all their nice features. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but from what I've read in the users manual it will suit my needs to run my household in a power outage. Thank you

First try generator arrived with a dented exhaust cover. Returned. Second try generator arrived in great shape but didn't run properly. Third time is a charm. Generator arrived in excellent shape. Put together easily and started on the first pull. Ran it for two and a half hours, ran great. Put it under a mild load. Ran great.

This is one of 4 generators that I own, two very popular Mfg. I purchased the Generator to run a 3 HP compressor for a remodel, absolutely no issues, never tripped. Given the performance of my Westinghouse Generator, I am ranking it as the best one I have. Lastly, I would highly recommend Westinghouse Generators if you are looking for performance.

Bought this in the PNW for the frequent power outages in our wooded area. I'm connecting to a transfer switch to our home, but taking the alternator cover off to remove the jumper wire (per the instructions, which are well-written!) was a challenge. It was stuck on there pretty good. Ended up scratching it a bit. Other than that, I am happy with it. May update this review once it's gets more use!

Just put together and started it up on propane and ran two times to warm up and seat the rings/breaking some. The only negative I have is the oil fill cap/dipstick. Plastic that doesn't start and thread great. Just cheap and hard to get to and screw back on. Either it vibrated loose or I didn't get it on well the first time I ran it. That is minor and it seems to be a good product for the money.

Bought the WGen5300v to supplement power for our camper trailer. The generator worked great, however, came with a broken choke spring. Customer service is working the issue. There were no problems starting it up, connecting to the 30Amp line, and starting up the air conditioner and other outlets.

We used this generator for the first time during the recent TX arctic freeze. We lost power for 4 days. While I did not have a transfer switch, I was able to run 2 heavy duty 12 gauge wires into the house from the built in 20 amp receptacle. I was able to power my TV, fridge, PC, sound system, several lights, small space heater & a vacuum whenever necessary. I never heard the generator bog down, absolutely no starting problems even after sitting in the freezing temps in my garage. My sensitive electronics had no issue running, though I did run the power from the gen to my devices through a good quality surge protector. Only downside I can think of was that it was rather noisy but then again my entire neighborhood was noisy with generators running, so I suppose that is the nature of the beast. If you are contemplating buying a generator because you have never owned one before, please buy it. This thing paid for itself when it ran 4 days straight & powered the essentials in my home.
