Don't do it. Don't buy this washer, as nice as all the features appear to be. I've only had it for about 4 years and it already went bad. It has never handled large loads well. It leaves residue after it drains, so if I wash my white bath rugs, I have to rewash another 2 or 3 times to get the dirt left over out because it just floats on the water as it drains. The springs went bad so it gets out of balance super easy and they are expensive to replace. But the warranty was worthless so I've had to pay so much for repairs at this point that I actually wish I would have never bought it. Save yourself the trouble.

Hoping to get more than 2 years out of this one as my last started to become "unbalanced". This is replacement for the same minus agitator. The pretreat jet is a must with an infant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is basically perfect. Lots of capacity, flexible washing options with notification via the smart things app, and quiet operation. This is hands down better than the washer we previously had and gets things done faster, quieter and importantly just seems to get things cleaner! It also has a nice look to it and a quiet close lid. Would not hesitate to recommend it! In addition the smart things app notification is handy, even pops up on our Samsung TV briefly letting us know the cycle i done, convenient! The self wash function makes keeping the washer clean and odor free a simple press of a button.

It has nice bold design, very quiet and all the controls are intuitive and easy to understand. The machine has many useful washing cycles that will satisfy the needs of any household. A melody played at the end of the washing process is a very helpful feature if you perform multiple tasks around the house simultaneously. Thank you Samsung for the great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got today and I’ve done 5 loads. This holds so much! I can’t wait to wash my bedspreads in it. It’s really quiet compared to others I have had. I love that you can connect the app and get a text when your load is finished. I wouldn’t recommend for short people as it would be hard to get clothes out. I’m 5’6” and it’s deep for me. I love the see through lid that soft closes. It has a pause if you need to add clothes after starting. Spins out water super well so clothes take less time to dry. So far I would highly recommend.

Once you download the SmartThings app, you can utilize the "laundry recipe" function--you tell the machine via app what type of clothes you are washing, how soiled they are, and if they are colors or whites. From there, the app gives you a couple different "recipes" to choose from that best matches what you have in the washer and away you go! It even sends your phone a notification when the load is complete. It also has something called Vibration Reduction Technology--the washer is so quiet you can barely hear it running. The drum of the machine is huge! I was able to fit a comforter with ease and with still room to spare. The drum itself on the inside is beautiful and shiny. There is a self-clean option you can also use, but I haven't made it that far yet! I know I'll never have to go to the laundromat again to wash heavy bedding because this machine handles it. Get it!

Here is a review that is not “incentivized.” I would rate this a 0 if I could because this washing machine is a piece of garbage. A load HALF of what my whirlpool could handle would make this machine become unbalanced and make the basket thrash around the sides of the machine. Now you would think the unbalanced error code would pop up and the machine would stop so you can go manually fix it (which shouldn’t be needed in the first place). Nope! Instead the machine will add additional time to the cycle, re-add water, and try to rebalance itself (unsuccessfully) several times. I have done 20+ washes with this machine and NEVER has it ever been able to successfully rebalance. So whenever I do a load that is not small (few tshirts and shorts) I need to time the machine so I can be there immediately to rebalance it myself so it won’t waste any more water and electricity. Now maybe your machine will be okay in the short term, but the question is how long it will last. Look for actual reviews here and other places and you’ll see that the impressive average rating and the glorified reviews are nothing but a facade. As soon as I am able to I will get rid of this garbage. Not passing it on to family, friends, or even acquaintances for the matter as I don’t want them to deal with the immense headache that I have trying to do something as simple as doing my laundry. Edit: gave design a 3 because it looks fine and better than my old washer, but I have to say I would much rather an appliance work properly than look good!

Quick and quiet washer that has plenty of settings for all of your needs. I'm very happy with how quick I can wash some of my loads through the quick wash setting. The washer is high efficient but still has all the tweaks you may want to ensure you cleanliness.

The basin is large and fits the perfect size load for family washing without having to wash all day long. It is much quieter and does a better job at cleaning then my last washer. It also looks more modern than my old plain white washer. I love that the top is see through so you can see the cleaning process as it happens. The smart features are an added bonus. I connected to Smart things and it can remember my preferences for washing and even start the cycle for me. I definitely love, love, love it. I haven't gotten around to all the features but honestly this is my first Samsung appliance. We have many of their electronics but not appliances. Well I was so impressed with the washer I went ahead and ordered the smart dryer and I can't wait until it gets here because I know it will be just as great as this washer. I'm definitely sold on all things Samsung and look forward to replacing the rest of my appliances in my house with Samsung products.
