I've had many vacuum brands and types over the years, but this is my favorite. It is very maneuverable and moves easily over carpet and solid floors. It has plenty of attachments, and the attachment tube is very pliable unlike others I've had. This Shark almost makes vacuuming fun.

My hubby purchased the Shark Rotator vacuum to replace our old Dyson vacuum. I'm impressed with the suction power of the Shark vacuum and it will literally roll away on its own if I forget to turn it off while the vacuum is idle. This vacuum is lightweight, maneuvers smoothy across the carpet, comes with accessories, and the canister was easy to empty. We're very happy with this purchase!

I bought this to replace my older Shark. This is the worst vacuum I have ever used. I would have to go over the same area a minimum of 3 times and it still did not pick up everything. I don't know why it is marketed as a pet vacuum, I have 1 domestic short hair cat and this vacuum could not handle the small amount of hair my cat leaves behind. There is something different about the quality of this new Shark compared to my older one. I would like to give praise to the Walmart Customer Service at my store, zero hassle returning it.

Bought a Shark becuase my co-worker raves about his. I'm very dissappointed in this vacuum. Does not work on Carpet at all. I tried 3-4 times over the course of a month just making sure I had the settings (like suction max and carpet selected) correct. Like another unsatisfied reviewer, it should NOT be marketed as a pet vacuum, and it definitely should not cost as much as it does. I should have just spent the extra money to buy another Dyson. PRO: Works fine on thin rugs/bare floors. I do wish it would auto assume floor type without having to press a manual switch. PRO: I do like the handle/rod better than my Dyson. PRO: It's akward to move around, but so was my Dyson at first. PRO: Dust cup is large CON: Carpet suction sucks. Just don't buy this vacuum if you have carpet. You will NOT be happy. Doesn't even seem like it works. My dust cup is near empty after a running over my carpeted ares (1 week in between with multiple shedding pets). I just vacuumed. I can visibly see hair, dirt, etc still on my thicker rug that I went over at least three times. CON: Attachment placement/holder seems odd. My attachments keeps falling off as I turn CON: the head is thicker than my Dyson, unable to get under the edges of various things, like my bookcase. This is a CON for me, but others may not care. It will require me to use my broom prior to the vacuum. CON: Cord is just slightly too short. Needs to be like another 6-12 inches longer. CON: It isn't smart enough to roll over it's own power cord, tries to suck it up. My cheap Bissell that is a vacuum/mop combo does better than this product.

I bought this to replace my Shark NV752 Rotator Powered Life-Away True Pet. It's lighter and cheaper than my previous model. It hurts my hand to vacuum because the handle isn't comfortable. It has a high pitched whine to it when it runs that's pretty loud and hurts my ears. While it has an LED light on the base, it doesn't have one on the handle which I am really missing when I use the wand. The accessories were lacking. I've bought Shark for years, and I've liked their machines until buying this one. I would rather cut the long hair out of the roller on my old shark than have to give up comfort with the new one. I feel like I spent a lot of money on a cheap vac.

I only had rechargeable vacuum and I did have the suction strength or the long term use. I saw this Shark on sale and decided to try it. It was easy to put together and operate. I love the deodorizer it’s a great scent. I have 4 dogs and this picks up all their hair. I’m very please with my purchase.

We previously had our last Shark vacuum for 10 years. We needed to replace it as the bottom roller no longer had fibers left to beat the carpet. This new model we bought is pretty identical to our other top of the line Shark, but with some added improvements. LOVE: the absolute ease of removing the wand/hand tool/pod/debris bin to empty. The new scent pod filter is a nice touch and smells very good and clean. The vacuum itself like other Sharks works superbly to vacuum both hard floors and carpet. This particular model is packaged for the bulk store and you get additional tools included. The headlight feature is very nice to use when vacuuming up dark areas like closets. Super happy with my purchase, looking forward to another 10 years of use.

I had a shark vacuum similar to this one and it was very good on carpet and rugs, but not so great on hard floors. This one is jus the opposite. It is better on hard floors and it really sucks on carpet and rugs. I have 4 bedrooms with carpet and 2 large area rugs. I used the new shark and then went over the same area with another vacuum and the shark had left a lot behind. I saw another review complaining about how this vacuum dosen't do well on carpet. If you have carpet and rugs you will need another vacuum for them.

I just replaced my first purple shark vacuum and I have to say that I was afraid I would not like the newer ones because of some reviews I had read. Well, I am so glad I found and bought this one. I have used it for a month now and I have to say, I love it. I love it more than my original one. Thank you for a great product.

The vacuum is light and easy to maneuver and does a very good job of cleaning, but after only its third use, the cord got sucked up into the cleaning head - the cleaning head cut right through the power cord all the way down to the wire. Thankfully because of the warranty Shark is replacing the unit, but I am very disappointed at how poorly crafted the cord is. I've never had this happen with any other brand of vacuum.
