Just like Homemade only better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product! It's so quick, convenient and easy to use anytime I want to make a pie. I'm no good at making pie crusts so I love that I can use these and it's as if I made it from scratch myself. It looks and tastes just like it's homemade. Use it the same way you normally would use a pie crust you made. Give it a try I know you will love it too!

I have been using Pillsbury pie crust for years and I like it very much as long as my pie doesn't exceed 8 or 9 inches. I truly wish you would make a larger crust for two reasons: 1. I could make much fuller prettier fluting around the edges 2. I like deep dish pies but this crust needs to be much larger for those. Now don't tell me to use the Pet Ritz deep dish pie crust. I am still an old school cook even though I choose not to make my own pie crust and I like to use my own pie plates and pans.

I have used these for years. This year both pie crust were stuck so they wouldn't unroll. I didn't have time to make my own or run to the store, so this put a Sade face on my Thanksgiving meal. Where has the pride in a producing a good product gone, disappointed so won't make the same mistake again!

Oh no! That's definitely not supposed to happen. Be sure to let the pouch stand at room temperature for at least 15 minutes or microwave on defrost for 10 to 20 seconds prior to attempting to unroll. We'd like to hear more about your experience. When you have a moment, please reach out to us using the 'Contact Pillsbury' form linked at the bottom of our site. Thanks.

Just like homemade...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would rather use this pie crust rather then make my own. The Pillsbury Pie Crust is flakey and cooks to a nice golden brown. People seem to think it's homemade and I'm certainly not going to tell them different.

Tasty but ingredients are questionable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you take it out of the fridge to thaw a bit, it's easy to work with and tastes great. I've used it for chicken pot pie and chocolate pecan pie. I give it three stars, because although it works and tastes good, the ingredients are just trash. I am going to learn how to make my own pie crust soon, so I can feel better about what I'm serving my family to eat.

How do you sell a pie crust product that has been shrunk both in thickness and circumference so that it tears at a mere touch and no longer fits a standard pie plate? This was my favorite go to pie crust when I did not have time to make my own. You might have saved a few pennies per box, but you lost a customer.

Phillsbury!!! I have just tried 3 different pie crust the last one even with a different pie plate. They all fell flat!!! Looks like a pizza crust!!! This so disappointing. I’ve always used your pie crust for a go to. However, something is wrong. Pillsbury by the reviews your losing a lot of customers. It even doesn’t taste the same. However, I very sure your aware of this due to a cheaper product down the line in manufacturing. Would love to send you pictures!

I will not use again. I bought in a pinch, I thought it would be good because of the Name but it was the exact opposite. The crust was so thin I could barley set it in the pie pan. And I was very small, didn't even fit to the edges, when I backed it it shrank so much that when I put my filling in it actually over lapped the crust. Very disappointed.

I have used the refrigerated pie crusts for 15 yrs. and very satisfied including an apple pie in Oct. Pumpkin pie baked for Thanksgiving a major disappointment. Crust receded at least 1/2 in. from edge and bottom crust was shiny and basically raw dough. The crust was also noticeably thinner.

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using these for fruit pies and pot pie but recently I made pastys with them and they came out amazing. These are easy to use, ready, and taste wonderful. Also, are flaky and the perfect thickness. When I hand roll dough I always make it to thick or thin.
