I rarely take the time to write a review online, especially something like a pie crust. DO NOT buy these pie crusts! I’ve never had a problem in the past. Was trying to make 2 pumpkin pies and just in the first phase of baking crust, it deflated and was completely flat. Ran out at 9:00 at night to get more crusts, only one box of Pillsbury left - same thing. It has ruined my pumpkin pies and too late to get anything else. By reading other reviews, I’m not the only one who has had the same problem.

I have 2 9-inch glass pie dishes which you suggest when using your pie crusts.  Your pie crust stick to my pie dish, and they are so thin they burn or get very crisp.  I used a thin layer of non-stick spray on the bottom of the pan this time and the pie crust didn't stick to the bottom.  Your crusts are so thin and small these days, I cannot crimp the edge of the crust.  I have tried your pie crusts too many times, and they don't get any better.  I will stop using them in the future.

I have a food allergy to all mammals (beef, pork, lamb, etc) and in food products made from animals (milk cheese, lard) due to a tick bite. The allergy is called Alpha-gal allergy. This has become a huge problem in the Midwest, south and parts of the north east. Please note that there is lard in your refrigerated pie crust. It should be listed as an allergy on your ingredients. The only way to prevent this allergy is to avoid eating mammalian food. I have spent two very miserable days trying to figure out what I ate to cause a reaction. It was the LARD in the pie crust. Please reevaluate the ingredients in all of the pie crust and alert the consumer of the problem. Thank you for your cooperation

These Pillsbury pie crusts have been my go-to for

These Pillsbury pie crusts have been my go-to for years! I believe they are the next best thing to scratch made. However, I bought a box for my holiday pies and opened the box to find one of the crusts with no wrapping whatsoever and the other crust had a wrapper that was split open all the way from top to bottom. Basically both crusts were discolored and dried out due to no wrapping. I then had to make a special trip to the grocery store to replace them. Very frustrating. The store made things right and allowed me to get a replacement at no charge. I just think you need to know that there is an issue in your packaging! Markings on box for reference: Exp. 12 JAN2022 JL2340 F?

I attempted to use this pie crust for a bottom crust only. I placed it in the pie plate and it looked just fine. Took it out of the oven and the whole crust had shrunk so much I had to throw it out. Also, the crust was so thin and looked greasy. Something has definitely changed and not for the better

Pillsbury Pie Crust is delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury pie crust is my go-to ready made crust. It is buttery, flakey, and makes dinner a breeze. I love this crust for not only fruit/ dessert pies, but also for savory pies. I use this crust when I make chicken pie and my family LOVES it!

I’ve loved your products for years but now my husband is a diabetic so we can’t have them any more. I wish you’d figure out a good pie crust using almond or coconut flour for diabetics. There are so many out there that would love this cause diabetics are left out and their population is growing

Made a chicken pot pie 5/28/21and it had a strong chemical taste. Like chlorine bleach. Pillsbury needs to check up on this . We live in the south Jersey area . Seems a lot of reviews coming in with the same issue! Googled pie crust tastes like chlorine and came upon these reviews. Whole meal ruin. Can’t get taste out of my mouth yuk!

Like others have mentioned, there are specks all in the crusts. I have never seen this before, so it's very suspicious to me. It looks like pepper or, cringe, something got ground up in the flour. No way am I using speckled pie crusts. I will be contacting QC to complain. Better yet, I'll save the crusts and ask them to eat it. And as far as the chemical smell, I didn't cook these crusts, but I can guarantee that no food should smell or taste like a chemical. C'mon Pillsbury, do a recall!!

Simple but great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to making my peach cobbler and I want to cheat, Pillsbury is my go to crust.. I love the flakiness and it’s golden brown in minutes.. I recommend this to anyone who’s in a rush or have little baking skills..
