I am in the process of making tomato pie.I just bought your Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust. The recipe calls for a 9 inch deep pie plate and I only bought 1 box of the Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust that holds 2 dough crusts. The 1st dough pie crust didn't reach the top of the pie plate and while prebaking and to make matters worse: the pie dough sides fell onto itself, and I was unable to use that dough at all. So, with a second pie crust attempt, that too did the same thing! Both were heaved out.Now I'm stuck with all of these ingredients and no pie dough.Would be great for a tiny pie!

My 2 pies are a mess tonight.  What happened to your piecrusts? They would not unroll without sticking and tearing.  I had to unroll 3 and then doctor them to get 2 half-way decent crusts.  Something has changed!  One crust has slipped into the custard and looks awful.  I am sure that it will taste fine but I am going to someone else's home tomorrow and my pies are not the quality that they usually are.

After years of using these crusts with ease, I am

After years of using these crusts with ease, I am greatly disappointed in the current product: they are smaller and thinner—so thin you barely taste it with the filling; so thin, the pie slice falls apart during plating. Whose brainchild was this? If it ain’t broke…???

Pillsbury pie dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury pie crust is my go to pie dough when I’m running short on time making homemade crust. It simplifies making a homemade pie. My family cannot tell the difference from my homemade crust. It makes a perfect pie anytime and is convenient.

I thought it was me until I read the other reviews

I thought it was me until I read the other reviews. I’ve used these crusts for years with no problems. This year I made an apple pie for Thanksgiving. It tasted different and the crust didn’t get done. Tried another apple pie at Christmas. Same thing happened even though I baked it for a longer amount of time. Guess I’ll start making my own.

Pillsbury has messed with success: such a disappo

Pillsbury has messed with success: such a disappointment that a valued , familiar product is so dramatically different. The crust is smaller, thinner, softer, more homogenous (not as flaky) and shrunk so upon blind baking as to be too small for even an 8 inch plate. This change to the formulation means no more weeknight pot, shepherd’s

Everytime I use pie-crust/pet-ritz-deep-dish-pie-c

Everytime I use pie-crust/pet-ritz-deep-dish-pie-crust it is always broken after it cooks.. I repair cracks before I bake but invariably there are cracks that happen in the oven. I have bought another product that is packaged much better and they aren’t broken. Unfortunately the store where I shop doesn’t carry that particular brand and the other store was out of it so I bought your product again. I’ve already baked two crusts and both have cracks .. I’m at a loss as to why you can’t package with a heavier plastic and a cover.. I’ve wasted my money for the last time on your product and believe me I’ve bought them for years and put up with the cracks but enough is enough.

Easy way to make a good pie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsberry premade pie crust are the easiest ways to make a pie. It takes the hassle out of making homemade crust which is difficult sometimes for those people who do not know how to do that. The crust itself is flaky and delicious.

Best Kept Secret!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury pre made pie crusts are a bakers secret. Really, who needs to know? They are light & fluffy, just like the ones you spend hours making by hand. One of the best parts is the convenience - just take them out of the box, let them reach room temperature & there you go! I have been using them for years & so far my reputation as a great baker has not been tarnished. I say give them a try!
