I don’t have time or space to make dough. Pillsbury is my favorite BUT the dryness and holes are a BIG problem. Here’s the solution to the problem: Parchment paper needs to used on top of the dough before rolling it up. Simple fix to a HUGE problem!!

I have relied on Pillsbury pie crusts for years. But been disappointed recently. Today I unrolled the bottom crust neatly. When I proceeded with umrolling the top crust, it kept sticking to itself and tearing. It seemed dry and tore easily. Both crusts were packaged in the same box. No one likes to stop in the middle of a pie, and run to the store to get another pie crust. This happens more frequently than it should. Also, recommend 2 sizes, For 8 inch or 9 inch pies. One size doesn't fit all, and falls short for 9 inch pie pans. Flavor and bake ability is fine.

I made mini pot pies and cut multiple small circles out of the dough. I was able to roll it back up and continue to cut out more of one roll.

Because I was making the entire meal myself, I used these as the bottom crust for two pies this Thanksgiving to save time. They were absolutely horrible. I used them as directed on the package directions and the crusts never baked. They were raw. It was disgusting and ruined the pies. Disgusting.

If I could give a lower score I would. I have purchased these pie crusts for many years. Today I followed the directions on the pkg to prebake the crust. It shrunk to 1/2 the size of the pie pan. I will not use this product again. So disappointed!!!!!

If they are nearing their expiration date and I don’t have immediate plans for pie, I’ll roll them out on a baking sheet, cut them in wedges, brush them with melted butter and sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon and bake them. Delicious!

They are light & fluffy, just like the ones you spend hours making by hand. One of the best parts is the convenience - just take them out of the box, let them reach room temperature & there you go! I have been using them for years & so far my reputation as a great baker has not been tarnished. I say give them a try!

It's a time saver and so easy to use, but best of all it is hands-down delicious. Guests ask me if I made the crust myself. I just tell them I made it come from the store to the Inn....
