Agree... these taste like chemicals badly. I could smell it outside the oven while baking. Exp: 02JUL2021 Lot:JL2005CV Come on Pillsbury, what’s going on with your product quality and safety? Over a month’s worth of reviews sharing the same issues and consumers can still buy affected product in stores today? I came here to see if anyone else had the experience I had. Clearly I’m not alone!

Great Quiche crust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great pie crusts to use for just about anything. We make a lot of quiches in our house and these Pillsbury ones are the best - never soggy on the bottom, and flaky and crispy on the edges. Great value for your money too!

Ironic that some folks are complaining about the lard. Lard is actually better for you than vegetable oils. Saturated fats and cholesterol are not he cause of heart disease - this old mythology has been dis-proven. Sugar and trans fats are the real culprits. So lard is OK. But,,,,, partially hydrogenated lard is not OK because partially hydrogenated translates into contains trans fats which have been shown to be one of the primary causes of the inflammation of the endothelial cells lining our arteries leading to heart disease. Trans fats have been banned in many countries and are in the process of being banned in the United States... So this product just needs to be updated and have the partially hydrogenated lard replaced without something safer like coconut oil or palm oil...

this used to be the best pie crust. I don't bake a pie often, but often enough to notice the change. Christmas 2022 will be the last time I use this crust. it's too small. don't even attempt to use a 9 inch deep dish pie pan. there is not one crumb of extra dough so there won't be enough to trim the pie with. it's also become a very thin crust. barely noticable as part of the pie. next time, i'll make my own.

These pie crusts are great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These refrigeratored pie crusts are great. You can always count on quality. I’ve used these for years. They can also be frozen and used later. I use them for pot pies, chicken pot pies and they always perform perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a complaint with the Pillsbury Pie Crust. They bake up great each time I use them in my recipes. When left out at room temperature, they unroll with no tears or problems. Definitely the OG of dough for me.

Great crust almost like homemade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The closest premade crust to homemade. Have tried other kinds and they were terrible. Pillsbury is flaky and crisp on the edges, browns nice and even. Tastes great even when reheated. Love this for a quick pot pie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pie crusts. They are so quick and easy. Sorry I can't do the picture, my computer isn't working properly for me to do that. But I'm happy to share my results using this product. I would recommend this product to every one, and espeially those new cooks out there who haven't mastered the art of making their own from scratch. These crusts taste great and look wonderful.

Delicious, reliable and quick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have been a staple in my fridge for years. My attempts at homemade crust are always disappointing. With these crusts, I can focus on creating the best fillings- banana cream, chocolate cream, apple and berry-all picture perfect and ready in no time. I pre-bake for cream pies. Results are always delicious!
