Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Same great look/taste as in years past. I grew up eating these pie crusts and the recipe is the same. Flaky, buttery and rolls out nicely whether you are using for a savory pot pie or a sweet fruit pie. Highly recommended!!!

Easy as Pie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the next best thing to homemade pie dough. It’s so easy to use and so delicious! I can even design different toppings with cookie cutters and a knife. So when people say that they love my homemade pie and especially my crust, I can’t help but blush, but eventually I tell the truth.

I’ve loved your products for years but now my husb

I’ve loved your products for years but now my husband is a diabetic so we can’t have them any more. I wish you’d figure out a good pie crust using almond or coconut flour for diabetics. There are so many out there that would love this cause diabetics are left out and their population is growing

I have used this product for nearly 20 years...admittedly only during Holiday baking.   I have always been satisfied with the convenience of this product...until now.  For the first time EVER the curst was hard to unroll, sticking to itself causing tears.  Also, it just barely fit the pie dish for a 2-crusted pie.  I don't know if you've changed your product of if your quality control is not working, but if this becomes a regular issue, I will discontinue use of the product.  It had a "Better if used by:" date of Jan 03, 2017  with the number JL1939GR beneath the date.

Very disappointed with the dough shrinking in my 9.5" x 1.25" standard pie plate. I follow the directions for thawing out and all the rest, yet I consistently get a horribly shrunken crust with the sides all disfigured and slumped to the bottom. I wish I could post some pics of the mess. Just tonight, I pricked the bottom liberally with a fork and still got a bulge in the middle. Also, Where's the extra dough to crimp along the top edge? It's barely enough Pillsbury. I don't remember having such issues years ago. Ridiculous! I am never buying this garbage again!! Tired of wacked crusts and having to explain/complain to my family.

Good crust for homemade quiche!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these pie crusts to make homemade quiche. They molded to the pie pan well, and held their shape well. The crusts were crispy, and tasted good. Some pie crusts are very dry and crumbly, but these were not like that. I would buy again. And they were reasonably priced.

Oh Pillsbury, why did you have to change your pie

Oh Pillsbury, why did you have to change your pie crust recipe? Even out of the box without rolling it thinner, it barely fits my pie plate. Now the crusts are sticking to my pie plate and I can barely make an edge. What did you do? Bring back the pie crust you had in the past. If you used lard before, bring it back. If you cut back, put more back in!

Love Pillsbury crusts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live these crusts! I use them all the time, holiday pies, pre-baked for pudding pies, all the things. They are as delicious as homemade and look very nice, as you treat them like a homemade for the edges and any decorative touches. Highly recommend!

Easy pie crust to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best pie crusts I have used. It not only has a great taste and texture, but it is also very pliable. I made mini pot pies and cut multiple small circles out of the dough. I was able to roll it back up and continue to cut out more of one roll.

I bought the pie crusts last December and again to

I bought the pie crusts last December and again today (a year later). I don't make many pies. The one I bought today had a terrible time unrolling without tearing. But both stuck to the glass pie dish and had to be scraped upI made a pecan pie and a brown sugar pie, which both have a huge sugar content. Maybe that's it? Although the trouble with unrolling is new. I've used them in the pastf for curry puffs and they always unrolled beautifully.
