[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury pie crust is my go-to ready made crust. It is buttery, flakey, and makes dinner a breeze. I love this crust for not only fruit/ dessert pies, but also for savory pies. I use this crust when I make chicken pie and my family LOVES it!

I've used this product for years, but my most recent experience was disappointing. The pie crust didn't fit my 9 inch pie plate with enough overhang to make pretty edges. And the crust seemded to shrink down the sides of the pie plate during baking. I don't know what Pillsbury has done to this product, or why. I would pay more for a good product! For now, I'm shopping for a different brand, perhaps a house brand.

They are so flaky and taste just like a homemade pie crust without having to go through the trouble of rolling out the dough. Sometimes the crust may get alittle brown when it’s baking so I just cover it up with one of those crust covers halfway through the baking time.

So, with just a tinge of guilt I purchased this pre-made pie crust to save time. I used it to make a turkey pot pie. It was a hit! No one noticed the crust wasn’t my own. I will be buying it again; this time without the guilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to bake a pie but don’t want to take the time to make the crust, these are perfect. The only downside is they don’t keep well so if you don’t use both of them the second one tends to dry out in the refrigerator

I've made many pie crusts over the years and I am more than happy to use Pillsbury crusts now. Outstanding quality and great results every time!

I love the convenience of having it right there and ready when I need it. And I enjoy the taste. I use it for pies, tarts, and quiche.

So, usually my husband makes his own pie crust. He has RA and this year he just couldn't do it. America's Test Kitchen and my friend Cheryl recommended Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust. I had high hopes. We were both very disappointed. It reminded me of my sister-in-law's pie the year she experimented with lard vs vegetable shortening. It was heavy and not at all flaky. I wonder if you might consider using vegetable shortening. We used to use Crisco but in recent years switched to Spectrum which we like better. As for us, I guess if we can't make our own crust, we won't be eating pie for the holidays.
