Did you change your recipe, Pillsbury? I've used your pie crusts exclusively for years, and make multiple pies a year (many in the fall). They've always tasted exactly like homemade...until this fall 2021. Now they have a chemical/soapy aftertaste. It's so off-putting, and the last thing you want after eating delicious dessert is to be left with that flavor. I need to find a new brand unless Pillsbury goes back to whatever it was before this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the time I will make my own homemade pie crust; however, when I’m in a hurry to make a great tasting dessert Pillsburys pie crust is my go to! It’s flaky and delicious and no one has to know that I didn’t make it by hand.

I have used this crust for years to make pastie's or meat-vegetable pies. In the last few of quality of the crust has definately deteriorated. The top splits apart and causes the meat pies to look messy along with losing all the steam that cooks the vegetables and meat. Not happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these pie crusts work perfectly. I tend to roll it out a little bit after to get rid of any wrinkles, and shininess. A lot easier to use than making your own, and I am a baker. When i have time i make my own, but I would rather use these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product for the first time to make strawberry cheesecake empanadas I got the recipe off of Pinterest. They came out pretty good I just recommend it letting it unthaw for a little bit before you try making whatever your trying to make. I was in a rush and it was hard to unroll the pie crust other than that I would recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have tried other brands, but no other refrigerated can compare to Pillsbury. For many years I have always made my own pie crusts. I have to admit that those were hard to beat. Pillsbury pre made refrigerated pie crust has good quality and I have no clean up. Stands up to any filling and the texture is excellent!!

I have been using your pie crusts for years and been very pleased with them.  But this year at Thanksgiving I went through three boxes(2 in each) and was unable to get a decent crust for my pies.  Each crust shrank so small they were unusable for my pies.  Also they seemed to have too much oil in them.  Please recheck your process and return your crusts back to your normal recipe!

The pie crust tastes like plastic. I have purchased them before, but I will never again purchase these pie crusts. They ruined two cherry pies by giving them both a chemical plastic taste and smell. The pie crusts need to be recalled and our money needs to be refunded for the pie crusts and they ingredients that we used to make the pies. I am hoping that they we are not going to become sick from these crusts.

I used to love this crust. It rolled out great, cooked light and fluffy. While using it today it was crumbly and weird. I checked the ingredients and there is now LARD in this. As a vegetarian, this is a total bummer. Plus the crust was lower quality.
