Love Pillsbury crusts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live these crusts! I use them all the time, holiday pies, pre-baked for pudding pies, all the things. They are as delicious as homemade and look very nice, as you treat them like a homemade for the edges and any decorative touches. Highly recommend!

I have always used and love pillsbury pie crusts, it tastes so homemade, I have never had a problem with them until recently, the last 3 times I have used them, they shrink to hardly nothing, some of the sides shrink down to the bottom, and yes, I follow the directions. Like I said, it’s only been the last 3 times I’ve bought them.

This  is  absolutely nasty !  It  smells  bad  and  tastes  worse.  I  tried  it  three different  times  and  the  same  results. I don't understand why  the  frozen  version is  great  but  this  is  horrible.  Pillsbury need  to  discontinue  this  for  it  is  a  blemish  on  their  brand.

I've used these for years, starting when they were the ones folded into quarters -- which were challenging sometimes to seal the cracks when they were unfolded.  Yes, I could make my own.  But these are quick and easy, and frankly better than the ones I make, and better than several different friends pie crusts.  And no, they don't have "horrible ingredients".   As noted by others, shrinkage can be reduced by cooling them (in the pan) before baking, and piercing the crust.    The only thing I wish they could do is make them available in sheets, too, so I could cut them into squares and make hand-pies, or use them over a rectangular dish when making large "buffet" pies.  Another thing would be to make a variety that is sweet, for some sweet desserts. Otherwise, I love them!

I wish that this product was available in a deep dish option.  I have deep dish stoneware Pampered Chef pie pans that I do not wish to forgo.  Or maybe done in a large sheet format (like the crescent roll sheet) so that they can be trimmed to fit any purpose

Have used these crusts for years with no issues. Always turned out a great pie. Bought two boxes for Thanksgiving and have had lots of problems. Dough was uneven in thickness and patchy with occasional holes. Tried to blind bake several crusts for custard and chocolate pies and the pastry shrunk and rolled up. Have NEVER had this problem...what’s up?? Don’t make me switch companies : (

Pillsbury pie crusts are as good as home made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pie crusts are so much easier than making my own from scratch and taste just as good. My mother taught me how to make pie crust and she made the best pies. I used to make my own pie crusts from scratch but with five children and working full time, I did not have the time. When I started using Pillsbury ready made pie crusts, my mother couldn't tell the difference and thought that I had made them myself!

Best Refrigerated Pie Crust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy the Pillsbury Pie Crusts often to make chicken pot pies. I have tried the generic brands in the past, and they always crumble and fall apart when I roll them out to use. Pillsbury brand is always perfect. The crust is very fresh and very easy to work with. It also has an amazing flavor. It is well worth the extra money to get the Pillsbury brand pie crust.

I have been using these pie crusts for DECADES and the ones I have attempted to cook with this year have been atrocious. What changed with this recipe? It tastes like oil, doesn’t cook the same and gave everyone immense heartburn and indigestion. I won’t buy again until pillbury formally tells people they went back to the previous recipe

I have used the refrigerator crust for decades; WI

I have used the refrigerator crust for decades; WITHOUT complaints. This is now the 2nd box of crusts that are literally dry, falling apart even as I open them out, they rip. What is going on? Who is making or are you all cutting corners? TERRIBLE. I won't trust you with my Holidays pies this season.
