I have used the refrigerated pie crusts for 15 yr

I have used the refrigerated pie crusts for 15 yrs. and very satisfied including an apple pie in Oct. Pumpkin pie baked for Thanksgiving a major disappointment. Crust receded at least 1/2 in. from edge and bottom crust was shiny and basically raw dough. The crust was also noticeably thinner.

I am in the process of making tomato pie.I just bought your Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust. The recipe calls for a 9 inch deep pie plate and I only bought 1 box of the Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust that holds 2 dough crusts. The 1st dough pie crust didn't reach the top of the pie plate and while prebaking and to make matters worse: the pie dough sides fell onto itself, and I was unable to use that dough at all. So, with a second pie crust attempt, that too did the same thing! Both were heaved out.Now I'm stuck with all of these ingredients and no pie dough.Would be great for a tiny pie!

We have used this product many times and generally loved it - however - i just noticed the ingredients now include LARD...Why have you substituted Lard for soy-based oil? This makes the otherwise fantastic product completely unusable by our family. Please consider a vegetarian option

I have been using your pie crusts for years and been very pleased with them.  But this year at Thanksgiving I went through three boxes(2 in each) and was unable to get a decent crust for my pies.  Each crust shrank so small they were unusable for my pies.  Also they seemed to have too much oil in them.  Please recheck your process and return your crusts back to your normal recipe!

Something has changed. Every year for July 4th we make lemon meringue pie and pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and  use these crusts. They were foolproof. BUT AFTER FAILED crusts on three holidays now i can't blame myself, I'm doing things the same way I used to. The crusts shrink terribly and even when pierced they get huge bubbles in the center. My beautiful pies are a thing of the past. Pillsbury what the heck did u do to this product? Is this due to removal of trans fats or something ??

The pie crust tastes like plastic. I have purchase

The pie crust tastes like plastic. I have purchased them before, but I will never again purchase these pie crusts. They ruined two cherry pies by giving them both a chemical plastic taste and smell. The pie crusts need to be recalled and our money needs to be refunded for the pie crusts and they ingredients that we used to make the pies. I am hoping that they we are not going to become sick from these crusts.

Scrumptious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pie crust, when baked, tastes absolutely yummy. If you don’t over burn it, it’s actually a soft, warm, and cherry filled pie. The cherry, depending how much sugar you add, can be more sweet or bitter. I like it either way, and will definitely buy more in the future. Thank you for allowing me to review this product.

Great way to make homemade tarts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a very nice crust and worked very well for the homemade tarts we were making. I would definitely use the product again. Just this time when I bake them I would probably do an egg wash on top with a little bit of butter to make it brown easier.

First it is extremely frustrating to have to sign up before I can comment.  I would think you would want your customers to let you know what they think thus avoiding a blast on the internet.  Your rolled pie crust is the worst pie crust I have ever used.  The part that is edible is like eating pie filling on crackers and the ridge is like a brick and is definitely not edible.  It reminds me of the salt dough my grandchildren and I use to make Christmas ornaments.  We could not cut it with a regular knife.

I just purchased your crust and nowhere on the package does it mention size of crust , which is important to know . Also would be nice to have size options available and size listed on the package and leave out the artificial colors and preservatives ,it rolled out fairly easily only sticking together in the center , so I managed to get it in the pan and repaired it . Too small for the pie I was making so not a pretty pie . I purchased to save time but not thrilled at all .
