I totally agree on making the diameter of the crust bigger approx. 2 inches. In order to use a deep dish 9 1/2 glass pie plate you must roll out the dough thinner which many times will shrink the sides and make it not usable. This also makes the crust so thin that the pie is harder to cut and remove in a pretty slice. "I love the Pillsbury brand but the roll out is just not big enough for most pie plates."

I use these for homemade cherry pie, chicken pot pie and spinach quiche. The quality is better than store brands. I would really miss this product if it went away!

These are easy to use, ready, and taste wonderful. Also, are flaky and the perfect thickness. When I hand roll dough I always make it to thick or thin.

It tastes good and is so easy! I could do with it being a bit lighter and flakier but with the convenience of the premade, it is well worth it!

It would appear that a great majority of corporations producing pie crusts are doing much the same as all other manufacturers, in that they are, slowly but surely, reducing the size of their products.  Remember the 3 Musketeers Bar of 30-40 years ago?  And the "Penny Candy" of days gone by?  Prices go up and up over the years, even as the size of the products go down and the net pay of the lower and middle classes go stagnant or go down.  Being on a fixed income (Retired) means becoming very frugal and particular with purchases.  It has been some time since I purchased a number of Pillsbury Items, but I will try again to see how they are doing and will write POSTAL LETTERS if I am not happy with a product.  Do you all really think that anyone at Pillsbury REALLY reads these things...that a Big Corporation would PAY anyone to do that?????   REALLY?

I have used this pastry crust for more than 2 decades and love that I can do anything with it.  I always roll it out a little thinner and have plenty for deep dish pies as well as regular 9" ones.  However, I had to stop using this product when my family discovered it had lard in it.  Now I have to use pre made crusts that do not use lard but they do not hold one recipe of pumpkin pie. So sad.  The flavor of these pre made crusts is not bad but I sure wish Pillsbury made their crusts without lard and then I would give it a 5+.

They are easy to work with and save you lots time in the baking process that otherwise would be spent making homemade crusts. I generally use these crusts for the top crust of my pies but have used them for the bottom as well.

I'll have to agree with the rest of thecomments most glass pie plates these days and for quite some time are 10"pie plates some even larger plus add the deep dish variety and your pie crustsare too small to accommodate these pie plates. Even if the cost were to go upslightly the convenience would be well worth it. Hope you readthese!  

Agree... these taste like chemicals badly. I could smell it outside the oven while baking. Exp: 02JUL2021 Lot:JL2005CV Come on Pillsbury, what’s going on with your product quality and safety? Over a month’s worth of reviews sharing the same issues and consumers can still buy affected product in stores today? I came here to see if anyone else had the experience I had. Clearly I’m not alone!
