Oh Pillsbury, why did you have to change your pie

Oh Pillsbury, why did you have to change your pie crust recipe? Even out of the box without rolling it thinner, it barely fits my pie plate. Now the crusts are sticking to my pie plate and I can barely make an edge. What did you do? Bring back the pie crust you had in the past. If you used lard before, bring it back. If you cut back, put more back in!

These pie crusts are too small. They do not fit a 9 inch glass pie dish. I use 2 crusts for the botton crust. I agree with the other reviews. I have used Pilsbury for over 35 years, now the taste is off. There is a chemical taste to them. Pillsbury, please make bigger crusts and go back to your previous recipe. Otherwise, I will need to look for another brand.

I love these pre-made pie crusts for when I'm in a pinch or want a quick pie with no mess. They roll out great and are easy to manipulate once they get to room temperature. They taste good when cooked (lets face it nothing beats homemade pie dough. I also have to say cooked because I love eating raw pie dough. Weird, I know) The only reason this get 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the ingredients. There are definitely some questionable ingredients to keep these fresh and easy to use.

Get creative with pie crust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We keep Pillsbury pie crusts stocked because they make creating easy. Emeril Lagasse's Taco Pie is a favorite. Ready made pie crusts make it quick and so good. Other favorites include tiny tarts and sheet pan pies (galettes for you chefs!).

quick easy treat that takes just a few minuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these pie crusts to make pies and also to roll out and make cinnamon crispies-which for me, is melted butter spread on the crust, cinnamon, sugar and crushed nuts, roll it up and fold in the sides. Brush some melted butter on the top then slice log into 1/2 inch pieces and bake. Sometimes I make a glaze, other times I just eat them up, so good.

The incredible shrinking product, I am so not happy! I thought I would use this to save time, but I wasted my money and time as I had to make my crusts! These are 9”, that’s it, and won’t even cover the pie plate! I’d give it a zero if I could! First and last time I ever buy this product, don’t waste your money!

Good Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to buy frozen pie crust in the pan, one day I decided to make a chicken pot pie and was looking for a convenient semi homemade way to do it. These crust are convenient and cook up nicely...flake and tasty.

Ditto with all the other comments I see posted. Many years of being a happy customer of these pie crusts only to find that they are completely unusable now. I had the problem with the sagging blind baked crust a couple of weeks ago and thought it was something I did. This afternoon--with a fresh box of pie crusts--the same thing happened again. What a disappointment!

I used it in a bowel and put in apples and microwaved it and it was wonderful!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very good and moist and not dried out. I used abut 1/3 of it one day and used another 1/3 a different day. Always very nice and flavorful and not dried out. I put apples in it and microwaved it..!
