Moms pie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wanting to make my mom’s lemon cream pie and purchased these pie crusts. The crust and the pie came out delicious! I 100% recommend the pie crust. It came out light and flaky. I know my mom was proud!

I've used these pie crusts (and the same pie plates) for years.  But lately, the crusts are too small for the plates.  I've always rolled them out a bit, but now I'd have to roll them to shreads.  The plates haven't changed size, so what gives? I'd really prefer not to go back to making crusts from scratch.

Something does seem to have changed with this pie

Something does seem to have changed with this pie crust. I agree with all these other reviewers that say that. The crusts seem thinner and smaller. I can no longer get mine to cover the lip of either of my pie plates. In fact, they don't even reach the base of the lip. Texture when cooked, seems different as well. What happened? Can you fix the issues please? I would like the crust to fit a 9" deep dish. If I am not mistaking, it used to. Now, I had to stretch the crust even for my smaller dish. For obvious reasons, that did not work well. Help.

The only pie crust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pie-crust is one of those things where buying the name brand is worth it. The Pillsbury pie crust is the only one I’ll use for my famous chicken pot pie. You get 2 crusts, they roll out easily and bake to a nice golden brown in about 20 mins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these all the time when I make quiche which is often. The best part is they last so the next week or so I have what I need to make another. I also use them when I make pies. So easy and good. I just have to remember to take one out of the refrigerator a little before I want to use it.

I am not sure what has changed over the past year, but these piecrusts are completely unusable. I’ve never had a problem rolling them out, but for some reason the piecrust I just bought yesterday, will not unroll in one piece. When you get to the end, it shreds itself.I spent half an hour trying to put it back together, and then threw it in the trash.

This product was great, it was my first time using this type instead of the preformed crust(which is another great product). I used this to create a lattice crust top and the dough worked as well as a homemade recipe. The only way it would have been better is if it was a square sheet instead of a circle, it still exceeded my expectations for a store bought product. The crust was golden brown and picture perfect even if my latticework wasn’t lol

This was my first time using this pie crust. It is awful. About half of the crust shrunk down the sides to where I can't use it for the Chocolate Cream pie I planned on making. The bottom ballooned up in the middle in spite of using a fork to vent the crust before baking areas and the bottom sides aren't fully uncooked. I will not recommend nor buy this product again.

I've used Pillsbury pie crusts for years. The box I opened today - well, something seemed wrong. The uncooked crust smelled "off". I then came to the website to see if others had reported any issues and it looks like many bakers are experiencing "differences" with the crust. Not wanting to ruin my meal, I threw the Pillsbury crusts away and ran to the store, buying a store brand. What's going on? I'll continue checking back here for reviews, and will not purchase more Pillsbury crusts until bakers become more pleased with the product.
