I just pre-baked a single crust pie shell.  Little to no shrinkage.  Basically, the way to minimize shrinkage is the same with these as it is with a homemade pie crust (which also shrink):1.  Freeze or refrigerate the crust for 10-15 minutes before baking.  and2. If you are pre-baking, use thin foil/parchment paper and pie weights/dried beans/dried rice to hold the shell in place and minimize shrinking.  Hopefully this helps!

Next Best Thing to Pie Crust From Scratch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Pillsbury pie crusts. Always have a box handy in my freezer for making quiche and apple pies. I've tried pie crusts from scratch and Pillsbury has the texture and flavor of homemade so why spend all that extra time in the kitchen making a mess!

After years of using your pie crusts with excellen

After years of using your pie crusts with excellent results, it’s clear you have cheapened the product in two ways. Amount and quality. The last two times I used your pie crusts for a single pre-baked crust, both while still within the “use by” date and precisely following all directions, they have not adequately covered the pie plate and they have both shrunk to an unusable degree. The Pillsbury brand used to stand for quality. Now it stands for waste of money.

Easy as pie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I am an experienced baker but at times I do like to take short-cuts. Why not when this is as tasty and flaky as homemade. I use it to make pies, tart, tartlets and quiches. It is so easy to use. Leave out for about 10 minutes and you can roll it out right onto your pie dish. Easy and delicious, what else could you want.

I've never had an issue with pre-made pie crusts, including Pillsbury. However, my recently purchased crusts shrank down so small I couldn't even fill them. I came here looking for answers and it looks like they changed something that isn't working. They've always been small. Now they're unusable.

I bought the pie crusts last December and again to

I bought the pie crusts last December and again today (a year later). I don't make many pies. The one I bought today had a terrible time unrolling without tearing. But both stuck to the glass pie dish and had to be scraped upI made a pecan pie and a brown sugar pie, which both have a huge sugar content. Maybe that's it? Although the trouble with unrolling is new. I've used them in the pastf for curry puffs and they always unrolled beautifully.

Quicker than homemade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes when there is not enough time to make a homemade crust, my go to is always Pillsbury Pie Crusts. They are great for throwing together a quick quiche on a weekend morning without having to pull out the flour, shortening, butter, water, measuring cups and food processor!

I have used Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts for

I have used Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts for years and have always found them to be an excellent product—until today. When I blind-baked your crust today in a glass pie dish according to the directions on your website, it shrank down to almost just the bottom of the dish. It was unusable. What have you changed?
