[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these pie crusts when I make chicken pot pie. I honestly believe it is worth the extra money to get this name brand over other cheaper options. I've never used it with anything other than pot pie, however, so I can't speak to its use with anything else.

It would appear that a great majority of corporations producing pie crusts are doing much the same as all other manufacturers, in that they are, slowly but surely, reducing the size of their products.  Remember the 3 Musketeers Bar of 30-40 years ago?  And the "Penny Candy" of days gone by?  Prices go up and up over the years, even as the size of the products go down and the net pay of the lower and middle classes go stagnant or go down.  Being on a fixed income (Retired) means becoming very frugal and particular with purchases.  It has been some time since I purchased a number of Pillsbury Items, but I will try again to see how they are doing and will write POSTAL LETTERS if I am not happy with a product.  Do you all really think that anyone at Pillsbury REALLY reads these things...that a Big Corporation would PAY anyone to do that?????   REALLY?

Like homemade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used these pie crusts to make Mother’s Day Quiches. Blind baked the crusts before filling them and they turned out perfect. One guest commented that he had never learned to make homemade pie crust. Now you don’t have to!

For Pete's sake, these crusts have gone so far down hill! Try and stick 2 together to actually have enough to make a pie. Your product is awful. You made the crust too small to use and sacrificed quality ingredients so you clowns can keep increasing profits. Garbage

I have been using Pillsbury pie crust for years and I like it very much as long as my pie doesn't exceed 8 or 9 inches. I truly wish you would make a larger crust for two reasons: 1. I could make much fuller prettier fluting around the edges 2. I like deep dish pies but this crust needs to be much larger for those. Now don't tell me to use the Pet Ritz deep dish pie crust. I am still an old school cook even though I choose not to make my own pie crust and I like to use my own pie plates and pans.

Pillsbury pie crusts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Pillsbury pie crusts are my go-to choice when I don’t have time to make homemade (& sometimes, even when I do, lol) They’re quick, easy to use, taste delicious plus no one can tell the difference. I use them for both sweet and savory recipes. They are a staple in my refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these all the time when I make quiche which is often. The best part is they last so the next week or so I have what I need to make another. I also use them when I make pies. So easy and good. I just have to remember to take one out of the refrigerator a little before I want to use it.

Like other reviewers, I agree that the crust is very thin and did shrink. It didn't shrink as much as others stated, but I used weights and covered the crust edge with a silicone crust protector. This was the first and last time I'll use this product. I threw away the unused second crust.

Something has changed. Every year for July 4th we make lemon meringue pie and pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and  use these crusts. They were foolproof. BUT AFTER FAILED crusts on three holidays now i can't blame myself, I'm doing things the same way I used to. The crusts shrink terribly and even when pierced they get huge bubbles in the center. My beautiful pies are a thing of the past. Pillsbury what the heck did u do to this product? Is this due to removal of trans fats or something ??
