The pie crust tastes like plastic. I have purchase

The pie crust tastes like plastic. I have purchased them before, but I will never again purchase these pie crusts. They ruined two cherry pies by giving them both a chemical plastic taste and smell. The pie crusts need to be recalled and our money needs to be refunded for the pie crusts and they ingredients that we used to make the pies. I am hoping that they we are not going to become sick from these crusts.

I am in the process of making tomato pie.I just bought your Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust. The recipe calls for a 9 inch deep pie plate and I only bought 1 box of the Pillsbury Dough Pie Crust that holds 2 dough crusts. The 1st dough pie crust didn't reach the top of the pie plate and while prebaking and to make matters worse: the pie dough sides fell onto itself, and I was unable to use that dough at all. So, with a second pie crust attempt, that too did the same thing! Both were heaved out.Now I'm stuck with all of these ingredients and no pie dough.Would be great for a tiny pie!

I was making a tomato pie and used this crust. When I pre-baked according to directions, the slides shrunk down and I had almost half of it at the bottom of the pie pan. Lucky for me, the filling isn't that wet, so I was able to move most of it to the higher side of the pie. But this is disappointing. Did something change?

These are great to keep on hand - always!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these pie crusts for years in both savory and sweet recipes. I always keep some in my fridge. If they are nearing their expiration date and I don’t have immediate plans for pie, I’ll roll them out on a baking sheet, cut them in wedges, brush them with melted butter and sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon and bake them. Delicious!

Can you tell me why the last 3 refrigerated pie crusts I used all shrank up to the point I could not even use them? Your crusts did not used to do this. 3 pie crusts! Disgusting. They came from different stores too, so it cannot be blamed on the store. I always flute my crusts, so there was plenty on every side.  They just all shrunk.

Christmas and Thanksgiving pie fail with Pillsbury

Christmas and Thanksgiving pie fail with Pillsbury crusts- so disappointing- have used these crusts for years and something has changed. They shrink terribly and look oily both with pre-baking and straight baking. All the filling spills over the shrunken crusts. My daughter had this happen too. No time to make a homemade crust. Thanks for ruining our pies Pillsbury.

1. Thought I would never find a screen name that wasn't taken.2. Thank you for changing the recipe or size of the pie crust so that it will no longer be big enough for my glass pie pan.  Now I get to save money and make my own crusts that fit and my family likes these better.  I used to bake at least one quiche a week and a pie and now making my own pie crust and sticking it in the freezer for the next week.

I am very disappointed with this pie crust. I have

I am very disappointed with this pie crust. I have uses them for years after seeing that this was the only crust my mother would use. If it's good enough for mom, it's good enough for me. However it has been a couple years since I have made a pie, tried one this weekend and what a disappointment! The crust shrank so bad that I ended up with half my pudding filling in a separate bowl. Thinking I must have done something wrong I come here to the website and find many people with the same complaint. I truly hope that Pillsbury actually reads these reviews and makes changes. This USED to be a very good product!!!

I am not sure what has changed over the past year, but these piecrusts are completely unusable. I’ve never had a problem rolling them out, but for some reason the piecrust I just bought yesterday, will not unroll in one piece. When you get to the end, it shreds itself.I spent half an hour trying to put it back together, and then threw it in the trash.
