The suction power is very strong and the steam helps loosen any gunk on the floors for easy removal. My only issue with this item is the cord. I have a very large open-concept home and having to deal with the cord isn't my favorite feature as cordless has become so standard in recent years. However, the power that comes along with the cord in this case is substantial and I'm thrilled with the results. I would purchase again and would recommend to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of my floors are hardwood and require a lot of sweeping and mopping. As you can imagine it can take a lot of time. When I first got the vacuum, there was some learning curve since it's a little different from your regular vacuum. The first big difference is that it's both vacuum and mop. When you start using the mop/steam option you have to start from the back of the room and move to the front since the floor with be slightly wet. It is time saving machine for sure. It does not use a lot of water, so your floor will dry pretty quickly. There is three different options. Regular hard floor, steaming (hot temperature) and rugs. You can use it as a plain vacuum and it picks up dirt very well. Since the roll is soft it does not spit out garbage from the back like a regular vacuum would do on hard floor. It works awesome for spills and sticky messes. It literally just stuck everything in and uses fresh water with cleaning solution to wash your floor after without having to stop and refil or change something. It's all in one. If it's something that had been stuck on for a while, it does take a few rolls over to get it off the floor, but eventually it cleans pretty well. I've been using my vacuum every single day and I would say it has been life changing. Before, I dreaded to wash my floors. Now, I do it every single day and I am very pleased with the result. My favorite feature is the steaming mode. It uses hot steam to sanitize the floor. I have a toddler who crawls all over the house, so it's a must at my house. I have a few rugs and use the vacuum to freshen them up a bit. It will take the top layer of dirt off and wash it to remove any spots. Old spots need to be pre treated first. The clean out mode is awesome. Instead of washing out the roll, just put the vacuum on the base (won't work without the base) and press the clean out button. It has been a life saver when it comes to cleaning my tile bathroom floors! The steam cleaning function gets my grout much cleaner than the traditional spray mop I was previously using and the sanitizing solution is just a bonus to help my floors look sparkling new. It also works great to clean my laminate floors. It glides easily across the floor and is much less work than mopping with a traditional mop. It is great for getting up troublesome messes and keeping your house at an all time high for being clean. My biggest area for using this is the kitchen and dining room, keeps it clean and gets it done quickly! Love how great my floors look afterwards. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to BzzAgent, I got to try the BISSELL Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum for free! At first, I was skeptical about the power of this little vacuum. The svelte footprint, single roller, and modestly sized water tanks pointed to small spill cleanup at best. With just one use, though, it was instantly clear that this little vacuum has what it takes to keep up with our busy household. We have two teenagers, three dogs, and my husband is an auto tech with a love for souping up his own cars. Beyond that, we have an outdated home with tired floors always in need of cleaning. My 13-year-old son and I tried out this vacuum together. Setting up the unit was super simple. We just had to click the handle in place and then fill the clean water tank up. Then, pour the pet cleaner until the level reached the second line and screw the cap on. The clean water tank clicks back into place quite easily and without dripping all over. There are three settings on the vacuum, depending on whether you want to clean rugs, hard floors, or use the steam feature. We started with the hard floor setting, and it worked great. Next, we tried the steam feature. The instructions say to wait 30 seconds for the steam to start. We turned the unit on, switched it to steam, and waited to no avail. You actually have to squeeze the trigger and start cleaning, and then the unit will release steam in 30 seconds. Within just a few minutes, we were surprised that the steam vac could actually get the embedded dirt out of the grooves. Nothing else does that! The self-clean cycle was easy to do as well, although final cleanup of the unit took more time than I liked. We had to take the roller out of the vacuum to dry, empty and rinse out the dirty water tank, remove and clean the filter, and dump out the clean water tank. Overall, I would say that the BISSELL Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum is a great addition to our household and will get used often, especially after the dogs track mud through the house.

I never would have thought that I could vacuum and mop at the same time until I tried this product! I was skeptical at first, because my traditional cleaning routine always begins with me vacuuming the floor first to make sure all the dust are eliminated before I mopped. I gave this product a try in my kitchen area where it is normally the dirtiest, I followed the instructions and I am surprisingly impressed with the results. My floor is dust-free and dirt-free at the same time, they look sparkling clean and smells fresh afterwards. I am very happy that this product works just like it is described, it is easy to assemble and dispose of the dirty water, and it is also easy to clean the roller for future use. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for cutting their cleaning time around the house, as for me, I know I can do my weekly cleaning at shorter time now. Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it for the first time and I wasn't that impressed but did do a nice job on the Ceramic floor and a semi job on the hardwood floor in the kitchen. The power of the vacuum was good, no steam. The machine did accumulate dirt in between the top of the filter and the cap. I really loved the old models but again they leaked, streams of water when preforming the mop part, and i had 3 machines before this one and i thought maybe improvements were done.

I love my Bissel vac and looked into this as my best option for the buck. Not disappointed at all! Super easy to assemble and use. The water was black and icky My husband was very impressed as well! He took off his work boots b4 stepping inside for the first time. After this, NO MORE SHOES!

My overall impression of the Crosswave hydro steam was that it's a time saver and a back saver! I hate sweeping and I hate mopping with a passion, so I've always wanted one of these! It made clean up not such a drag because you get to do both in one go! Sure you gotta clean the dirty water tank and it does get pretty gross lol but it's really not that bad. Beats hurting my back with mopping! I think this vac did a great job tackling stuck on messes with the spray as it made it easier for the vac to suck it up. And it has pretty good suction! Steam wash mode was very nice touch too because I have a crawling baby and it gave me a piece of mind that it sanitizes my floors. My favorite thing about this vac is that it's All in one of course! The vac itself is also very pretty, I just wish it was cordless!!! I think it would be so much easier to reach for it for every single mess if it was cordless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I desperately wanted something that would clean my area rug and this CrossWave delivered with style! Not only had it been years since its last cleaning (with a rented carpet cleaner) it now had rawhide schmutz ground into it from my newest 4 legged friend. The Hydrosteam took a few passes on the heavier sections, but cleaned my rug and removed the rawhide perfectly! I used my CrossWave on hardwood floors and to steam clean linoleum and WOW! I thought my floors were clean before! I wish I had done this years ago! I never wanted to rent another carpet cleaner again- and now I won't have to! I don't have a slop sink for cleaning the dirty tank, etc. after use, so I washed everything in the bathtub. It worked well. My only real issue is that I am sensitive to smell, so the cleaning solution with Febreze in it made me feel a little yucky, but I expect that to be less of an issue once it's warmer outside and I can open the windows. I can't always plan to do all of my cleaning/vacuuming at one go, so having to wait 24 hours for the components to dry feels limiting, but for just about $20, you can get a new dirty tank assembly and accessory holder, so I think I will, and then I won't have to wait so long to use it again! What a bargain! I had a little bit of difficulty determining if/how much Fresh Start solution I should add to the clean tank for the self cleaning function. The manual was unclear, but it seems you are not intended to add solution to the clean water tank, but rather, just to the storage tray. I suppose you could do both, if you really wanted to. The water line on the tank for the self cleaning cycle is very high, but the cycle itself doesn't take much water, so I'm confused as to why it says it needs so much in the clean water tank. I've done it anyway, but it seems one could just fill it to the small area line and it would have enough for a cleaning cycle. I can't recommend this product enough! It is perfect for my needs and I had no idea it existed!
