It really scrubs and I love how clean my floors are after using it. Also, the fact that I do not have to vacuum before mopping is wonderful. The all in one is truly a fantastic feature! The only thing I do not love about it are the parts I need to dump/clean when I am done. The self cleaning feature for the scrub brush is great though and works well. Overall, I definitely like it and would recommend it to others especially if you like super clean floors. You can get your floors vacuumed and mopped even when you do not have a lot of time because it's so quick. I received this CrossWave HydroSteam through the Stellar Testing Panel. I am a mom of a very busy household. Between the kids and dogs, my life is constantly on-the-go, therefore I always welcome different ways to make cleaning my house easier. In my opinion, the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Plus Muti-Surface Wet/Dry Vacuum is an absolute must have!! I instantly fell in love with the fact that this vacuum eliminates sweeping and mopping, not to mention the fact that it can also steam clean your floors for those "deep cleaning" days. It's lightweight, easy to use and im able to take this vacuum and clean my floors in half the time now! With the vacuum having multi-surface capabilities im able to go from hardwood floors to tile, laminate and even area rugs. The process is pretty straightforward, just fill the reservoir with water and the included floor cleaner, turn the vacuum on and choose the appropriate cleaning mode, there is hard floor mode, steamwash mode, and area rug mode. Each cleaning mode is designed for specific tasks, for example, hard floor mode is for the up-keep in between your deep cleaning days. Another amazing feature is that this vacuum also dries your floors! Everything about the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Vacuum makes cleaning your floors easier, therefore freeing up much needed time. I love its simplicity and versatility. I love that it gets the job done quickly. I love that it can be used for deep-cleaning my floors or just to clean up a spill. The effectiveness of this vacuum let's me rest assured that my floors are clean and it will now be a constant in my cleaning routine.

I only have to push a button to make the transition it's great. I picked up more out of my rugs than I ever expected.i also love the steam feature to help sanitize all my floors. Lifted some heavy stains out of the carpet in steam wash mode. I love that it's lightweight & was easy to push around, my back wasn't hurting afterwards. Very easy to setup. Overall, great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed luxury vinyl tile throughout our entire house a few years ago and since then I have bought and tried multiple things to clean the floors but have never been happy with any of them. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 kids so needless to say there is a lot of dirt and messes that need cleaned up frequently! I saw the Crosswave Hydrosteam online and after doing quite a bit of researching and reading reviews I decided to go ahead get it. I haven't had it for that long so I can't speak to longevity but here is what I would say are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. I love that you can vacuum and mop at the same time. Our floors need cleaned frequently so this saves me a lot of time because I can do it all at once! 2. The fact that it sucks up the dirty water is great. Not only does it make the floor look and feel much cleaner than using a spray mop, it also helps the floor dry really fast. It's essentially the same concept as a carpet scrubber but for all types of floors. 3. My floors are so much shinier than they were when I used other products. In the past I always felt like there was still a hazy film on the floors after I cleaned them that you could see after they dried. With the Crosswave Hydrosteam there is no haziness. I actually haven't seen my floors this shiny since they were installed! Cons: 1. I got it on sale however one downside I would say is that it is fairly pricey. That being said, after using it I do feel like it's worth the spend. 2. Cleaning it afterwards is a bit of a task because you have to take it apart, wipe and rinse everything, and then run the clean cycle on it. It took me a while the first time but I think the more often I use it the less time clean up will take. 3. I wish the dirty water container held more. I have to empty it several times in order to finish my living room, dining room, kitchen & hallway. I don't feel like this should prevent someone from buying the product, it would just be something that would be nice for future models

However, the brush doesn't even touch the floor when spinning, so it's really just spitting the water on the floor and then sucking it back up. It's not getting my floor clean at all. My brush is practically new looking.

I found it easy to use, easy to clean and it handled both hardwood flooring and rugs very well. We had hard wood floors that had only been cleaned by a mop for a couple of years and the amount of built up grime that came off with the steam mode was impressive. It suctions up the excess water efficiently and leaves your floor looking clean and shiny. You basically fill the tank turn it on and off you go. It cleans up quickly when you are done also. It would be nice if they had an attachment so you could easily do stairs and the power cord could be longer but those are my only complaints. If you have hard wood or stone floors this is a very handy machine to have around. It had a very short learning curve and the directions for use were clear and concise. It is also much quieter than I anticipated. The Crosswave will take a lot of the elbow grease out of cleaning your floors. I received this as part of the Stellar Testing panel and it has been a great addition to keeping the house clean and sanitized.

I eagerly awaited its arrival because I had heard great things about Bissell products. When I finally tried this vacuum, it did not disappoint. My house is all hardwood floors with area rugs adorning some rooms. This product was an effective multi-surface cleaner that could be used in every setting. The steam-powered vacuum cleaned grime and spots that would be not necessarily be addressed in a regular cleaning. The vacuum itself was easy to use and I loved how you could change settings (steam, hardwood, and rug) so quickly. One of the most unique parts of the vacuum was it ability to clean and then suction up the water. It is so inventive how it is able to clean in a variety of ways, leaving little mess behind. I realized after using this vacuum how much I missed cleaning with my old methods. The floors looked amazing and it was definitely the type of cleaning needed in a house that gets a lot of tracking of dirt. With two kids and two cats, this vacuum makes it possible to give the floors a deep clean in a short time. With one child that has asthma, this vacuum will help get rid of cat dander and other allergens that can cause irritability. I am so thankful that I got to try this Bissell vacuum free product. Although the first cleaning took a little extra time to understand the mechanics of the product and proper cleaning/storing after usage, the directions made this learning process easy. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to others and I look forward to trying other Bissell products after this positive experience. The innovation behind this vacuum allows for a professional clean every time. This will definitely make cleaning floors in my house easier and more effective.
