[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this innovative wet/dry vac. We recently pulled up most of our carpet, and are left with lots of flooring and area rugs. Doing the floors seems like they take forever, by the time I sweep, them vacuum and then mop, I've spent hours! This vacuum is amazing because I do the sweeping and the mopping at the same time. Not only that, I can vacuum my area rug, or steam it, which is what I choose to do. Getting the vacuum put together didn't take long at all, and learning the different settings just took looking at the pictures. Then it was to work, and man it took a lot less time than it ever has because it took one tool, one time through the floor!

I have really enjoyed having this as a busy mom of 2 and 2 dogs. It's pretty rad that I can't just clean the floor and don't have to sweep before I mop. I was surprised with how much gunk and dirt that it picked up. We often times eat around the counter in our kitchen so it can get pretty messy with a toddler eating and preparing meals. The wet/dry vacuum was able to tackle all these messes quickly and efficiently. Although my dogs aren't shedding much they are like velcro to dust and this thing does such a great job picking it all up! I was so impressed with how easily it glides on hardwood floors while cleaning. It also moves from hardwood to my throw rugs in an instant. And you can switch between modes or just keep it on steamwash. All in all I'm very impressed and excited to clean my floors.

Have to go over the floor several times. Too expensive for all of this. Best thing I can say is it is an electronic mop that vacuums

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wet and dry vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Bissell HydroSteam wet dry vacuum worked really well for our floor cleaning needs! We have mostly hardwood and tile floors with a few area rugs. We don't currently have any indoor pets but have 4 small children. I was able to sweep clean the floors and then vacuum and mop at the same time which was a huge time saver! I loved not having to dip and wrong out a mop. The floors got clean fast and dried very quickly! The clean water reservoir is larger than the dirty water reservoir in the HydroSteam so I do have to empty the dirty water 2-3 times while cleaning the floors in our home-but that is doing multiple rooms at once! I was amazed (maybe even disgusted?) by how dirty our floors were! The cleaning solution has a nice light scent without being heavily chemical smelling. The machine self cleaning mode is quick and easy and gets the machine clean and ready for its next use.

They have taken every extra step to make the perfect combo cleaning machine for hard surfaces and kid/pet messes. It is so easy to use and I love that it doesn't leave messy streaky water lines on my floor. Cleaning up the machine is no longer a struggle. Previous steam mops I have tried always had these weird crevices that would build up dirt, but not this one. The extra accessories you get are a huge bonus too. If you have animals or young children, this multi surface vac is a must have!

Understand that I had thought I did a pretty great job with cleaning the floors prior to receiving the cross wave hydrosteam. However, after using it I know see that there was so much dirt that the mop did get apparently. I highly recommend this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to put together. Does not save time. The footprint is too small when you have a lot of floor to clean. I have wood like plank tile. Does not get into the grooves well. Have to pass over multiple times to get dried on food up. Also , think it will be expensive to operate. I filled tank 4 times , which was two of the sample bottles sent. Wish there was a bigger machine with more of a bristle brush for tiled floor. In the end my floor was clean, but I had a backache!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sweep my floors prior to using the machine so less to vacuum up I like that is has a vac and mop feature and to clean over the floors in less work to do or for something quick and easy. The steam function though is a joke it doesn't work the way a steam should it doesn't heat up the floor and the water doesn't heat up either. I had gotten one device that the steam didn't work at all so they replaced it for me and the 2nd device seems to blow the steam now but that's all the feature does as there is not enough holes for it to heat/Steam the floors like a regular steamer as I do own one of those as well. I did use the 2nd device over my wood floors and touched the floor it and noticed that it didn't steam it and had to go over the same area 4 times in order for it to clean up properly, as for steam it should take no more than 2 times going over for it to clean. I don't recommend the hydrosteamer just get a seperate steamer now the pet one wet/vac is great highly love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to unbox the CrossWave HydroSteam. It's a good looking machine and it has the benefit of vacuuming AND steam cleaning your floors at the same time. I am a busy working mom with a cat, and any tool that helps me to maximize my time is important. When the machine is on the LED lights are bright and it cleans nice and close to the base moulding. The CrossWave has a self cleaning cycle that is just a push of a button when you are done. After the self clean, you are supposed to separate the roller, roller cover and canister, and then rinse those components and let them dry for 24 hrs. This part is a little annoying but I understand it's a part of maintaining the machine. Overall, the CrossWave does a pretty good job at vacuuming and mopping on my tile and hardwood floors. I have not used it on any area rugs yet. I am concerned at the amount of steam/water that sits on the floors when in hardwood floor mode. I have to vacuum over the wet area quite a few times to get up all the residual solution. I have older hardwood floors whose seal is compromised in some areas, so any sitting solution or water could be damaging. In steam wash mode, it cleaned the surface of my tile very well, but it did not get into the grout lines. I did notice that in steam wash mode the steamed solution is dispensed onto the scrubber brush which then hits the floor, and I am somewhat suspect as to how well the steam/sanitizing really works on the surfaces. I still believe that I clean my floors more throughly with vacuuming and mopping separately. That said, the CrossWave makes the most of my time and it's multitasking ability is my favorite feature. I haven't had any major sticky spills yet, so I can't comment on the Crosswave's ability to handle spilled honey or stuck on sauces. Overall, I am happy with the CrossWave HydroSteam and would recommend it to others. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to test this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this product. Most of my house has tile floors. Keeping them clean is a huge pain and takes a lot of work. Normally I am on my knees scrubbing the floor and grout by hand. I am way too old to be doing this anymore. Along comes the Crosswave Hydrosteam cleaner and BAM! My life is instantly easier. I love how it heats up the water to help scrub off sticky stuff that might have spilled on the floor. I have 4!kids, so sometimes that is a daily occurrence. It's quick to set up. Quick to use! No longer do I need to sweep all of the tile before I scrub. This machine does it for me! There are only 2 cons that I can currently think of. I wish it held more water, and I wish it could scrub my grout lines a little bit harder. Other than that, this thing is a time (and my knees and back) saver.
