The electric start is easy to use. I filled oil and gas and follow instructions and generator started after two or three pauses, I practiced on my furnace, small freezer and refrig and it handle all three. Now I am waiting for power to go out and then she will become very valuable. Naturally, we have named her "Genny"

Bought this gen as an emergency backup for the house. Unpacked it, added oil and gas and it fires right up. Air filter housing was damaged during shipping but was able to call Westinghouse (on a Sunday and talk to a human!) to get a replacement part.

Bought this generator about 3wks ago.Recieved it with damaged box and recoil housing was slightly damaged.I was still able to start and ran it for a hour without a load(break in)! After that ran it for about another two hours.I was really surprised at how quiet it was.I used it to run my pump in my to irrigate my trees.I used it to two more times after that.So far it has been a good investment, money well spent!

We just bought this and haven’t had chance to use it yet. My son assembled it easily enough. I found it to be just as advertised. I hope we don't have to use it too soon, but if we do have a power outage, I have no doubt that it will provide what we expect with the 5300 running watts. I stressed about power outages every time a bad storm was coming, but now will be at east knowing we have the Westinghouse Generator.

Hello, I bought the when5300cv. It is a beast. Works great and has a lot of power but it too noisy. It is being advertised as running with 68 DB but it actually marks above 80. See measurements attached. The graph shows from 10 feet from the generator up to 25 feet. It starts almost at 87 - 88 and as you move away it drops to 56 around 25 feet. I definitely recommend it but make sure you have plenty of space and extension cord LOL.

We bought this unit to get ready for the upcoming hurricane season. This unit is powerful and very compact and will be ready in a moment's notice. It has every feature needed to make sure we have power when we need it. The included wheels make the unit easy to move. Very glad we bought it!

I have just started using this generator and right out of the box it worked great. After adding oil and gas it took two pulls on the cord and it started right up. I would highly recommend this generator price and value for your money is excellent. My son has had a Westinghouse generator for four years and has never had any problems with it.

I bought this generator one week ago. It was very easy to set up. Instructions are very good and easy for anyone to understand. I never owned or operated a generator and was happy that this one was quite simple to set up and operate. Started right up and ran nicely. Great value for the money!

Easy and immediate start, great value for the price. Only reason I did not leave 5 stars is due to poor packaging. I had to return my first unit due to shipping damage. My second unit arrived dented; however I kept it because there was no mechanical damage.

As soon as I unboxed my new generator my power went out! The assembly was very easy. We had our unit up and running within 20 minutes. A little loud but it got the job done. I was very impressed with the quick start. I would highly recommend this product.
