A GREAT value and product for a minimal cost. I live in a 3 story home containing over 4,000 sq. ft. of living area with 2 full kitchens. My home has multiple gas fireplaces with baseboard electrical heat for “backup”. As such, this generator unit has the running power to supply power to my entire homes 120 volt outlets. Therefore I/we can use EVERY necessary small appliance, lighting, TV, cell phone, etc. and refrigerator without any interruption to our normal lifestyle. The generator was SO SIMPLE & EASY to use right out of the box. It took less than 20 minutes to have power after connection and adding of oil & gasoline. The operational manual proved is so well written that a 9 year old could understand. The remote cranking fob is a GREAT PLUS & worked PERFECTLY. AT 77 years old & as a former NASA NERD from the 1960’s Apollo moon mission, I KNOW QUALITY & WORKMANSHIP. Simply put; this is an incredible product for the quality and cost. Before purchasing, As my home is located at a mile high location on Beech Mountain NC, it was critically important to me that I purchased a quality product that I could depend on when electrical power was lost. Therefore, I reviewed, evaluated & compared EVERY comparable generator online before purchasing & found no other brands that came close in ANY RESPECT to this unit. I/WE LOVE IT!!!!!😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍

this is only second generator ever bought for emergency use. delighted with the manual and instructions. Clear, concise, easy to follow. Pictures could have been a bit larger. I had to go over them, making numbers etc., larger. looking forward to years of great performance.

I ordered a generator and it was supposed to come in may 5 but it arrived 4 days earlier! When I was looking at the instructions it was easy to read. It also comes with very informational Guides that tell you all about the generator and how to maintain it. Overall very happy with my purchase!

I just bought this for hurricane preparedness and after reading the reviews of all manufacturers out there this one rated the highest and everyone I talked to said this brand was the one to go with. Feel better going into hurricane season here in Florida.

I bought this generator bc we lost power for over 5 days in the Texas heat. I did a little bit of research before buying and thought by getting a dual fuel I would save myself some money on the price of gas. Well I was wrong 😕. Turned on my generator and set it to propane. I was running a window unit, a fridge, and a deep freeze. My borrowed generator that is the black max 3600 will run for around 10 hours powering the same items on only 2 gal of gas. Anyhow in only like 7-9 hours my propane bottle was completely empty. So that day I ended up spending 18.00 for only 7-9 hours. Not a good deal. I need to do more research and find out if this 1 does better on gas or the propane bc I know it doesn't do so well on the propane.

I bought this portable generator a month ago and the electrician installed necessary wiring yesterday. We tried it out and everything worked properly as expected. It is easy to move and the running noise was not too high. I am happy with the purchase and the price was very reasonable. I am hoping no issues running the equipment in a real power out condition.

In 2020 I purchased 3 generators (one at a time) to be shipped to me. Each one had either manufacturing or shipping defects. So I was a little wary of ordering another one online. BUT THIS TIME IT WORKED !! The generator arrived when promised, assembly was very simple (more so than the 3 previous ones), and I added oil and gas, and on the second pull, I was SOOO HAPPY, AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT!!

After the 2021 snowstorm, I decided to get better prepared for the future blackouts. I've installed a disconnect and an exterior 240V outlet that let me inject the power into the main panel after I disconnect the main breaker and isolate the whole house from city's utilities. A smooth run requires quasi-balanced loads on L1 and L2. The oil inlet could be better designed for easier access, but it is what it is.

The generator was easily assembled and started right up using the recoil starter. The generator holds a load and the electrician will install it today on the house transfer switch. I bought the 5300s because it has electric start and unfortunately the battery was dead on arrival. Working to resolve issue.

Arrived in great condition in a timely manor. Included clear instructions, tools to assemble, and even engine oil. The finish on the product is well detailed and appears to be a high quality piece of equipment, particularly for the price point. Very happy with purchase.
