After reading the reviews and capabilities of the WGen5300v, I confidently purchased it to have piece of mind for coming severe weather. I know we will have reliable power. I will provide an update on this review after I've actually used the unit

I made this purchase for piece of mind when the power goes out , to provide warmth & comfort and hopefully avoid frozen pipes ! I have been reassured that the size I bought will power the whole house - Luckily enough , I haven't had to rely on "generator" power yet.

I just received the shipment and put together today easily. The only issue I would like to share with everyone is that the Electric Start may not work in the first time because the battery does not have power. You have to use Manual Start and let the engine run for a while to charge the battery. I hope the other models may not have such problem. In general, it works when I try today.

I picked this generator because of the name and price point, a Black Friday purchase. I can power the necessities in my house with this generator, we are now prepared for the weather come what may. We've only had this a month and so far things are going well. It was very easy to put together and get it up and running. I'm glad I read the directions because I almost just stored it away and then realized there is a burn in period, so read the manual. But we are happy with the purchase so far!

Purchased the WGen5300 for this coming winter. The set-up/instructions were easy. Once all oiled and fueled, it took one push of the button for it to start. Simple instructions to pair the remote to the generator. “Looking forward” to use it when the power goes out.

After experiencing power outage over 3+ weeks in our area during Hurricane Helene, I decided a generator was a must. Instructions for set up were easy to follow and before I knew it, it was time for a test run. With the help of a neighbor for support we put in oil and fuel and got the generator started with no problems. We allowed for proper break in and are familiar with the long-term storage recommendations. Everything is set up and ready to go as we watch the snow fall in upstate South Carolina Jan. 2025!

I just bought this product about a month ago but just went through the assembly and operation. Assembly is simple, just follow the instruction manual. Same goes for the operation of the generator, easy "pull start" once the gasoline is engaged. I'll report back once I've had an opportunity to put it to the test.

I just purchased this generator due to recent power failure from a storm I had borrowed a smaller generator to save our food in the refrigerator and this one is quieter than the smaller one. No problems at this time starts and runs fine. I love the electric start.
