Very good. I cooked in a skillet on stovetop, then stuck under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp up the top pieces. Lots of meat in the container, too much for my family of four. But never fear, a carnitas bowl with rice, black beans, cheese, onion, and avocado is the next meal!

I was a little hesitant to try these with the reviews saying the meat was fatty. Boy am I glad I went ahead and gave it a shot. Super easy to warm and shred and more than enough to feed a family. The seasoning is mild so you can make it to your liking. The picky teenager just added cheese and hot sauce. Mom added pineapple salsa and felt like I was having a restaurant taco. I'm hoping these end up being a permanent choice.

These were wonderful - the meat was very tender, juicy, high quality and seasoned very tasty. It did not seem "southwest" to me, more like a really good tender pork roast. The meat was in cubes and could be shredded very easily. Yes there was some fat here and there, but it's pork so that's to be expected. I really hope they change this to be permanent, we like this better than the pulled pork.

Omg we live in Pennsylvania where it's hard to get real carnitas that taste like the ones where my husband's from michoacán mexico 🇲🇽 I mean we can make them in the house too but we love this the quick and easy and taste almost exactly the same but highly highly recommend this product

There's a lot of meat in this one. It's very tender. Not too much fat in the ones I've gotten so far. It has a decent flavor on it's own, straight from the packaging. My kids love this and they won't eat spicy food, or anything that has a lot of spices . This dish does a good job of balancing being kid friendly without being bland and tasteless. I add pepper and hot sauce to my plate and it's perfect.

These are my favorite carnitas! Easy to cook and so many different cooking options. I don't use them traditional way. I make mine with rice and beans and make it more of a cuban dish. Regardless delicious, only problem with these is I can't find them at my local stores anymore. Hopefully, they will come back soon!

Let me tell you reader that this package was quite generous in the portions! Not only was the portion large enough for us to eat for days in home made cafe Rio salads, tacos, taquitos, tortas but that this meat is full of flavor! Mmm 😋 SO GOOD! They weren’t dry like other products I’ve had and reheated really well. I consider this a staple from now on.

I was standing and debating on whether or not I should pick these up when another shopper told me that they are delicious. I'm glad he told me because I decided to get it and it is YUMMY! Not spicy at all, but it has a great flavor. It's easy to cook and the packaging has multiple ways to prepare it (I'm curious to try the air fryer). It also goes a long way. I filled up two larger tortillas and I haven't even made a dent in the amount of meat that is left. So many uses for this!

My husband isn’t a pork fan unless it is bacon. Our local Sams Club offered this product as a sample and he arrived home saying he had the best pork as a sample. The worker gave him another sample as he enjoyed it so much. He purchased it and the following day I heated it up with mash potatoes for a side dish. The juice from the pork was nice over the potatoes. The next night I made quesadillas with the left overs. It is a 2 lb portion and vacuumed sealed so you can freeze it nicely.

I’m always skeptical of packaged meat/prepared food, but gave these a try and the carnitas were fantastic. Super easy to heat up and pull apart. But more importantly, tasted amazing. We did a traditional corn tortilla, cilantro, lime and salsa verde and the whole family enjoyed. Enough meat for two nights, too. Hope this sticks around at Sam’s!
