Member's Mark 10" Coconut Dessert Cake, 82 oz.

Cake looked great, coconut flakes were great and cake was moist. But there was a bad aftertaste. I am not sure of it was the icing or the coconut cream layer, but it was not good.

We have been purchasing Sams coconut cakes for years, and this was a big disappointment to us. While the cake was good, It was not nearly as good as it had been in the past. Please return to your old recipe.

Not nearly as good as before

This cake had the best flavor and texture to the frosting as well as the light and moist soft cake it was absolutely delicious!! I added a happy birthday to it. And some candles and made it a birthday cake for my husband and daughter.

Best cake we ever had!!

This cake is really good. And moist and coconut. I was sad when you quite making it about 5 years ago. And do happy it came back. If you love coconut this is yummy!!

Changed recipe

Not at all like the ones they had a few years ago before they discontinued them. There was no filling between cakes, was a yellow cake not white, and frosting was also different. Used to buy them alot, will not buy another one now. I took to a get together & was so embarrassed when cut into cake & tasted it.

Fresh Coconut Cake

I love coconut so this was an easy choice, but it was more than just a coconut cake. It was incredibly delicious. The cake was light, moist and had great flavor. The icing was flavorful and not overly sweet. It was like an incredibly delicious vanilla cake with coconut on the outside.We loved it!!!! Even my grandkids who aren’t big coconut fans loved it.
