Soooo good---

I wish they had this cake all year round instead of just at Easter. I don't know how they do it, but the cake is so moist and it stays moist. We enjoyed ours for over a week and the last bite was as good as the first. Just have to wait for next Easter now...

Very Disappointed

I have always enjoyed the samples of the coconut cake around Easter. This year I purchased one and was extremely disappointed. The cake had a bitter taste and the imitation coconut flavoring was overwhelming. There was very little coconut on the cake. I don't know if the problem was our local bakery or if this was company-wide, but Sam's needs to do better.

    Delicious Cake

    I purchased the cake for an annual celebration at my church. There were various other donated cakes along with mine. Everyone enjoyed the cake as evident by the empty container at the conclusion of the dinner.

    I Love EVERYTHING about this Cake. it is my all-time FAVORITE. They sild a bunch too. have no idea why they only make it at Easter now. SOO DISAPPOINTED.

    Big Fan of Coconut Cakes

    And this cake did not disappoint!!! This cake should be available for Christmas as well bc having just available for Easter is a disservice to all coconut lovers. The cake is so moist and it's the perfect balance of coconut.

    Tastes like chemicals

    This cake is just so grose, there are no words. I unfortunetly just learned that this cake was made using an artificial coconut flavor and it tastes like they made it with either coconut lotion or an air freshener. It is literally so nasty.

    Coconut stale/moldy

    I look forward to this cake becoming available every spring. This year, the coconut flakes tasted terrible! They had a stale, moldy taste to them. It ruined the cake and made me concerned that the coconut wasn't safe to eat. We threw the cake away.

    Buy Pepperidge Farm Instead

    Read about how folks were excited that it was cake was back so I thought I'd try it. I should have bought Pepperidge Farm instead...at least I know it's always good. The cake itself had a very off-putting chemical aftertaste & the icing was cloyingly sweet. It's very disceptive that they label it as a "6 layer cake" because it only has 3 cake layers. I've never heard of a baker calling the filling/icing between the layers & on top as a "layer".

    Yum, Coconut

    Love this coconut cake. The frosting was a tad sweet this time. Very moist and tasty. Get it for Easter. Wish it was available all year long. No one sells a good coconut cake any more. And it's s shame, especially for us coconut lovers. Please offer it more often.
