I received a free sample for my honest review. The cake is super moist and has a great balance of flavors. The richness of the coconut puts this over the top for me. I enjoy that the cake isn't “heavy” to where I feel overly full after eating a slice. Will definitely be buying one of these to take to our family Easter gathering!

I have bought this delicious cake for several years. Can't even express how good it is. I wish Sam's club had it year round but for sure at Christmas time as well. With the cocunut frosting (looking like snow) it could be decorated by the customer's for Christmas parties, dinners etc.

This is the WORST COCONUT "FAKE CAKE" I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. I purchase WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE USUAL SAMS CAKE ON MARCH 27, 2024. I am sooooo disgusted with the following: 1. What happened to all the REAL COCONUT FLAKES on the cake and icing 2. It now taste like it was poured out of a box cake mix with nothing added to enhance the FLAVOR OF COCONUTS OR TASTE 3. Why is the icing soooo tasteless? 4. This cake even had holes in the cake where the mixing wasn't enough. I feel like I am in a nightmare of a dream AND WISH I COULD WAKE UP TO SEE THE "ORIGINAL" COCONUT CAKE LOOKING AT ME!!! BAKERY DEPT, HAS ANYONE HEARD THIS PHRASE, "IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT?" CHEAPER LOW QUALITY INGREDIENTS IS "NEVER" BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

most coconut cakes from bakeries are almond, not coconut. For true die hard coconut lovers this is the one for you. I love it as is, with chocolate sauce, orange sherbet, chocolate ice dream... It is a huge cake do I cut in half and freeze. I also refrigerate, but cut a serving and let set out for a few minutes to mellow it out. However you slice it, it is delicious.

I received a free sample for my honest opinion review. I thought the cake was very moist. It tasted very yummy. It does need more coconut flakes on the top %26 sides. It needs more frosting %26 coconut flakes in between layers. It is not a 6 layer cake…just a 3 layer. I would love to see you sell it year around. It's a great option for a birthday cake. You could even make it onto a birthday sheet cake…yummy.

So we've been on a mission to try every Sam's Club cake. We get a cake once a month and this is our 5th cake. I have to say this is by far the worst cake. We've tried at Sam's. Usually, they cakes are 4-5 stars for us. This one was a total miss. No flavor in the actual cake. All the flavor is in the frosting, which is too sweet for everyone's taste in our household anyway. It's missing some fruits, nuts or something.

I had a bakery for 7 years till I had children and wanted to be their mother , but with that said…… my daughter in law purchased this cake and we had it as our only desert . She cut a piece for everyone and I took a bite. My brain could not process what was going on, it was soooooo bitter, the artificial coconut flavor was either too much or rotten or someone was trying to poison us but it was terrible …. Inedible! I told her to take it back but she refused so I'm here to tell you don't buy this cheap cake that lady oks great but tastes like poison. So bitter so aweful .

Sorely disappointed!😢 This used to be the best cake ever. It doesn’t have the piped frosting around the top or bottom of the cake. Nothing between the layers. I believe it was previously 4 layers tall now only 3. The frosting is the best, if I didn’t want it all I could scrape some off, not now. Please make it like I remember!

WOW!!! This cake is amazing!! It's so moist and tastes fresh. The flavor is spot on and not sickening sweet. If you love coconut you need this cake in your life. I'm going to get another one and freeze it in individual servings like I did with this one. Seriously, whoever came up with this recipe deserves an award.
