The icing was a weird gummy substance that wasn't regular icing or whipped icing, but some sort of mess in between. Just plain awful. Save your $18 and avoid this cake.

I haven't bought Sam's Coconut Cake in a long time because they switched recipes, makers, I don't know what but sure wish they would go back to the 6-layer Cake they used to sell, which did have the current thick, very sweet butter cream frosting and only 3-layers. The original cake had a frosting that was lighter and not so thick or too sweet. I bought the cake yesterday on-line and it was delivered with other groceries.
