I have only used this for about a week, but so far I love it. Very is to pull start. Usually starts on first pull. Quiet, easily to talk over noise from 10 feet away. Light enough to carry around with ease. Powers what I need for camping and back up for power outages.

This is now my second iGen2200 generator. I bought my first one and I was so impressed, that I quickly ordered a second one so that I could parallel them when needed. It is very quiet for a generator. You can easily hold a conversation over the noise, from just a few feet away. Light enough for even my wife and kids to move around without too much struggle. Super easy pull start. Both of my iGen2200 started in 3 or less pulls since I first filled them with gas and oil. Every restart so far has only taken 1 or 2 pulls. Looking forward to using these more, individually and paralleled together.

Currently at 10 hours of operation, and this thing is an outperformer. Being an inverter generator, it's very quiet, never getting above 77 decibels on my NIOSH app from 20 feet away. At idle in Eco Mode, it is around 51 decibels from just 10 feet away. I have run it with loads varying from 100 watts all the way to its maximum rated of 1800 continuous and this generator doesn't miss a beat. It's quiet, smooth, starts within the first two pulls, and the fuel efficiency makes older standard generators blush. The best hidden features are that it comes with an oil funnel that threads into the dipstick hole so you don't have to spill oil while filling, and it comes with a premeasured oil bottle for break-in. Keep this bottle on hand so you can refill it and never spill a drop on your oil changes. During break-in, you should load the generator with various loads up to 900 watts for varying time periods to help the windings break in. While not required by Westinghouse, I elected to change the oil after 1 hour of initial runtime, and replaced it with 10W-30 conventional oil. I again elected to change the oil again at 2.5 hours, again with 10W-30 conventional. Once I hit the 5 hour full break-in mark, I did another oil change and went to 5W-30 synthetic, which is what Westinghouse recommends for the entire temperature operating range of the generator. I added an hour meter to the unit the day I received it so that I could more easily keep up with the time-based maintenance intervals, and for the $10 they cost, it is a no-brainer. This unit is highly recommended if you need a small generator to run a few items for a long period of time without going broke paying for fuel.

Bought this to use when tent camping to make life a little more civilized. I just got it but so far am impressed with the quality, the manual, and the ease of use. I followed the directions closely and once ready fired it up. It started easily and I was surprised how quiet it is. Tested it with a few items and it works nicely. I like that it has USB ports right on the unit as more and more items are coming with USB power nowadays.

I bought a week ago and tried out on my rv 15000 air conditioner but not enough power which is why I purchased. Using it for my building out back of house to run shop fan and lights. Will use in emergency for refrigerator and freezer. Haven't tried it yet but guessing it will work. Like unit but only gave a 4 rating as I have to run on choke position as when turned to run position per instructions it won't stay running. Need to have that checked. Still considering getting a second one to parallel.

I bought the iGen 2200 for my husband a couple of weeks ago, and he was very excited to get it. He often carries power tools and needed this to run some of them out in the field. I am looking forward to using it when I power wash and vacuum the car. I think it's really going to come in handy camping. Haven't tried it yet, but can't wait!

Very good design and easy to work on. Started on 2nd pull. Runs quieter than I expected. Had a few assembly errors though: there was foam rubber pinched between the rocker cover and the head; the large rubber isolator tunnel around the muffler was not installed correctly, and the air filter element was installed backward. I saw some of these that had a weather strip around the access door but mine did not.

Bought this for camping and it arrived a day before a hurricaine! I was able to quickly set it up (I've never owned a generator before!) and it was ready to go if needed! Fortunately, we didn't lose power. So now I will use it as intended, for camping.

I've had this generator a little over a week and so far it's been great! It's charged my two 12-volt batteries on my travel trailer. Directions were easy to follow and once I filled with provided oil and gas, it started on first pull. I don't think it's as quiet as my in-law's Honda EU2200i but it's close. So far, I'm very pleased and happy with the quality and value of this product. Thanks!

This machine is quiet & efficient, but I have bought too much stuff, made in China, that was absolute garbage, since they have a tendency to push stuff out the door, regardless of its quality, merely to get it out there, so it only gets 4 stars. Actually, it appears to be a clone of the Honda I just got rid of, since they look like kissing cousins, and it cost 1/2 the price I paid for the Honda, several years ago, which is a definite plus.
