Easy setup

One of the easiest things I have used recently. Everything you need to get going (Except gas) was in the box. Tools and Oil (exact amount - save the container for future use) was in the box....fill up with fuel...set to choke and pull the cord...only took two pulls.

Performs exactly as you'd like

Bought this to use to power stuff at our tailgate. We had a slow cooker, tv, game system, phone charges, and a few other things plugged in. It wasn't a big load, but there were no hiccups. With that load, the generator was in quiet mode, and it makes a significant difference! We're happy that we don't have to worry about power next year. We're set!

Nice Inverter Generator

Must say, just fired-it-up, but aside from the panel screws and the cheap, non-effective self-enclosed screw-driver they provide, all else seems really good and solid. Of course, I'll have to test-it under various loads and use it for an extended period of time, but for my needs, (RV when boondocking, and emergency household), it seems like it will work great, at a fraction of the cost of the main competitors. Also, my wife can fire-it-up good too, bc it's not too hard to pull-start. Again, for the value, especially if you can get-in on-sale, I say, GREAT!

Very quiet and plenty of available power

I bought my generator last week and it performed to perfection. It was very, very quiet and performed excellently. I used it to power a large sound system , a television and multiple fans. It didn't skip a beat. My plan is to keep it maintained and suspect it will give me great service for many years.

Does a great job for my camper...

I purchased this generator new about a year ago. We use it along with a solar power system for off-grid camping. Mainly use for cooking with electric and for charging batteries when there isn't much sun. Sometimes use for 5000 btu air conditioner, coffee pot, and misc. Pros. - -Great fuel economy. Very seldom need to refuel. Lasts at least 12-13 hours on a tank of gas, which for us amounts to about a week of camping! -Quiet enough for use in parks. -Easy starting. Usually starts in one pull. When very cold maybe 2 pulls. -Serves all our electricity needs for camping. -So far has been dependable. No problems yet. -Very low maintenance (oil change once a year). Cons. - None yet. For the price it can't be beat! Definitely recommend.

Just what I needed

I am planning a big camping trip in Maine this fall and this is exactly what I needed. I'll be having multiple charging needs as I will be camping with my friend who owns the property. There is no electricity available and we will be drone surveying which requires charging of multiple batteries and multiple devices. As an added bonus, we can plug in the rope lights at night around the campfire! Being able to travel with this and minimal fuel required is awesome and the low noise level allow us to talk around the fire without having to yell.

Seems like nice quality

Bought this to use when tent camping to make life a little more civilized. I just got it but so far am impressed with the quality, the manual, and the ease of use. I followed the directions closely and once ready fired it up. It started easily and I was surprised how quiet it is. Tested it with a few items and it works nicely. I like that it has USB ports right on the unit as more and more items are coming with USB power nowadays.

Small and Compact

Bought this as a backup for hurricane season and possibly for camping. Box was damaged upon arrival, but everything looked ok inside the box. The setup was easy with clear directions and everything needed for first use, except the gas...started on first pull. Pleased with purchase.

Purchased as a backup for solar panel.

Easy setup and operation. Comes with everything you need to get started except fuel, of course. (After adding the included oil and adding gas, it may take 5 or 6 pulls to get it started, but after that it has always started by the 2nd pull.) Fit and finish is good and product seems to be well thought out. (ex. lip or well around fuel fillup, to help contain small mistakes in refueling.) It does what its supposed to do, and so far I have 0 complaints. I obviously would reccomend this purchase to anyone in need a of quick, light, solution to smaller power needs.

Good unit but had an important screw loose

I was really excited to get this unit in time for hurricane season. After being without power from Irma, I decided to take action and thought this unit would be perfect. The unit arrived timely and undamaged. The best part is it's portability, I can move the unit around easily and it doesn't take up a lot of space like a bigger generator would. Here's where it went downhill though....... I added the oil and fuel; followed all instructions as directed and unit would not start on multiple pull attempts. After several minutes I pause and look down and see the ground a little 'wet'. I bent down and smelt gas...yikes. Without a doubt, gas was leaking out from somewhere under the unit. I pulled off the engine cover to inspect the fuel line and saw that the drain screw was not tightened. Not cool. I can only guess after someone tested the unit, the individual never tightened the screw again. Either that or I bought myself an open boxed/returned item that was never inspected. Either way, I had a definite safety issue to deal with this morning. I tightened the screw, and cleaned up the gas gave it a couple of pulls and it started right up and works like a charm. I think Westinghouse should just check in with their quality control about this since the manual doesn't mention the customer should check this screw before starting.
