I've only had it for a few days but I'm impressed by the amount of thought that went into the product design and documentation. These days you're more likely to get an online link than a physical manual, and then the "manual" is something hastily thrown together by someone less than fluent in English. Westinghouse, in contrast, put a lot of effort into an actual physical manual. The diagrams and instructions are very easy to follow. It's clear they put a lot of thought into making the product as easy to use out of the box as possible. Not only did it come with a bottle of oil, but there's a funnel and a screwdriver for accessing the engine compartment. You could reasonably assume the purchaser of a portable generator had a Phillips head screwdriver, but in the event one wasn't handy they included one in the kit. I'm impressed too by the attention to little details. Like engine compartment screws that cant fall on the ground and get lost. Like an oil cap molded with a twist to make it easier to turn. I added oil and gas, switched the dial to choke, and it started up after a couple of pulls. Could not be easier. If I worked at Westinghouse (I don't), I would be proud to be associated with this product. If this is representative of the work Westinghouse does, I will be looking for their brand on products in the future.

This generator was a breeze to setup, and started first pull. I tested the eco mode with a 1500v draw heat gun, and it handled it no problem. I added an hour meter to assist with maintenance intervals, and am confident I'll get great use out of it with the easy maintenance and the 3yr mfr warranty. Best in class for size/value for an inverter.

After having difficult loading my 4500 watt generator into the back of my Jeep alone, I decided it was time for a portable generator. Many reviewed regard this as a highly recommended product, and I can see why. Started easily with one gentle pull, after an extremely simple unboxing and setup process (Just add oil and gasoline!). This unit is easily moved, has a truly professional appearance (love the blue finish) and is darn quiet. Even at a full load of 1875 watts, I was sitting next to the generator and could have had a conversation with someone. Of course I briefly considered some far more expensive products, like Honda's EU-2000i prior to purchasing this unit at about half the price - however for my price point and intended use, this is a superior product at an excellent price!

The iGen 2200 appearst to be a nice unit and has no problem running as much as my wifes 1875 watt hair dryer. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it tends to "sputter" with no load. Perhaps this is because I live at an elevation of 3600ft.

I bought this as a back up to our large portable generator. Most of the time the power is out for such a short period of time it's not worth it to lug out the giant backup generator and get it going. This is simple and it's light enough my wife can easily get it out and fire it up.

unpacked, followed instructions provided for startup, oil and funnel provided, added non-ethanol gasoline, turned to choke setting, 2nd pull it was running !! ran as prescribed for break-in, handled load to perfection, only surprise is the noise level is a little louder than expected.

Received my inverter yesterday .. first impressions .. well packed and cokes with all you need to start, except ofcourse gasoline. Product seems compact and durable, plus it is not too heavy. Looking forward to start it and test it. Will provide updates to my review after first time use camping over the weekend.

I was very impressed when I pulled it out of the box, the construction and materials used are made to last, its well made and with great design, I like that all the internals are covered, this helps with the low noise this unit produces when operating, for the price I find this unit to be one of the best out there, I'm planning on using it when out camping and also in case of a power outage to keep my refrigerator and some other devices on as a backup power. I'm pleased with this purchase, it was delivered on time and in perfect condition despite it was delivered by Fedex, I guess I got lucky.... definitely will recommend to anyone looking for a small device for camping and small appliances at home.
