Wish I had chance to run, but just filled out warranty and have to review now. - Looks well made inside and out. Device is designed and engineered in US - made in China. Comes with engine oil and funnel to fill, as well as a spark plug wrench, Also has a 1 year unit replacement warranty and a 2-3 year parts warranty. Heavy unit, 46 pounds, but balances well on handle.

The instructions were very good and easy to follow in preparation for starting. I am pleased it has a drain for the float bowl and that the oil filler funnel was threaded so there was no risk of spilling oil when filling it. I have only had it for a few days and am in the process of breaking it in . However it is hard to identify on and off for the eco mode without it written on the machine and my printed manual does not designate that. Fortunately I found that information online.

The 2200 was simple to set up - access to the oil fill was quick. I added a splash of gas and was running in less than 10 minutes from un-boxing. I use this for general use during camping with the travel trailer and for miscellaneous use when a little power is needed to run some lights, charge batteries, etc.

I bought this to charge my 8 pontoon batterie, boatside and needed it to be quiet while doing so. As quite as my dishwasher from 15' feet. From 30' away it is barely audible. From out of box, reading quick start manual, adding oil and gas I was charging batteries in 5 minutes. Love the blue color. Fully charges 8 marine batteries on boat on tank of gas, less than 9 hours. Depends how long and fast on the boat (electric engine) I can pontoon for 15 hours, which is a week or long weekend)

Very good design and easy to work on. Started on 2nd pull. Runs quieter than I expected. Had a few assembly errors though: there was foam rubber pinched between the rocker cover and the head; the large rubber isolator tunnel around the muffler was not installed correctly, and the air filter element was installed backward. I saw some of these that had a weather strip around the access door but mine did not.

I like this Generator. It is super quiet. It starts on the second pull. I have had it for 2 years now. I use it most in the summer for camping. Each year it is very easy to winterize. The instructions in the manual are straight forward and easy to follow. I would buy another one if I ever went somewhere were I needed two of them to run the air conditioner. But, so far I have only needed the one.

This is a great little generator- quiet and easy to use- I'm an older woman- 70 years old- and wanted something manageable during PG and E shutoffs and during the winter when power goes off. This will do the trick for me- not too big, easy to start, keeps my refrigerator and lights on and can even charge up my phone.

Purchased the iGen 2200 to run an 8,000 BTU portable A/C. Took it out of the box added oil (10w30 oil provided) and gas. It started after about four pulls (not unusual for a very first start); I noticed no great resistance as some small engines require. It provided all the power needed for the A/C.

I have a 35 foot pull behind trailer that we live in and sometimes we need electric when there is none. The iGen2200 when linked with another iGen2200 provides enough power to run the air conditioner along with other items like the coffee pot, tv, fridge etc.

Typically with a product at this price point you don't expect good instructions or support. However, the product comes with very easy to follow instructions and their support was excellent. I only called to have a few questions answered and the rep was very response and helpful. Thanks again for a great product!
