Purchased the iGen 2200 to run an 8,000 BTU portable A/C. Took it out of the box added oil (10w30 oil provided) and gas. It started after about four pulls (not unusual for a very first start); I noticed no great resistance as some small engines require. It provided all the power needed for the A/C.

Just received my iGen2200 and was impressed by the packaging, solid construction, included toolkit and a printed manual. I added the included oil and some gas, followed the instructions and with 2 easy pulls it started right up and ran smoothly and quietly.

Bought a couple of months ago when power went out. Instructions are very clear and complete. It started the first time after 5-6 pulls on cord. It is quiet and doesn't seem to burn gas too quickly. Have not had to use for a large load such as our fridge, just lighting.

I bought this last fall and hadn't used until this past week. Our power was out for a good chunk of the day and our fridge was getting warm so I took this out, spent a few minutes familiarizing myself with it and doing the initial setup and fired it up. It did everything asked of it and saved a full fridge and freezer of food. I would recommend setting it up BEFORE you need it as one could easily forget to add oil and it would have been a bit annoying to do the setup in the dark.

This came to my house literally 25 hours after I ordered it. The directions were easy to read and understand. Totally solid product, and after filling with oil and gas, this generator started on the first pull. Very satisfied I bought this. Would recommend 100 percent.

I am very pleased with how quiet this is when at idle (and eco mode). It feels solid, starts on the first pull, and was able to power all the electrical appliances in our camper (other than the A/C, as expected, and not all at once). This is our second generator, the other is a 3100W Inverter. Our higher powered generator is about 110 pounds dry, so this one will be going with us on all but the hottest camping trips! Maintenance access openings are well placed, and the instruction manual was just detailed enough to get us going right away. Including the spark plug wrench, oil and funnel was wonderful!

bought the generator for camping use. Put the generator on choke and first pull start! everyday I used it during camping, every time you pull that cord its a first time run on start up! very good product , I ran keurig at the same time running led 24" with blue ray player and couple of mobile devices charging. It was a 3 night camping trip and still have gas in it. I ran it 3 hours a day and still gas in it!

Received this unit in a few days after purchasing. Upon arrival, we removed from the packaging, followed the quick start guide, and fired the little beauty up. The noise level was quiet enough to have a conversation with the iGen 10 ft away. Of course, with any internal combustion engine, the will be some amount of noise. However, compared to our regular style (non-inverter) generator this generator is a dream. We will be able to leave it on the patio porch rather than the driveway which is much closer and conserve some of the power output with shorter extension cords. Highly recommended for the price!

I initially wasn't sure if I was going to keep this generator as I have another one, but bigger. I decided to keep it when I did use it because of the ease in moving it around and the power. I didn't understand the fuel saving feature until I used it. The engine will automatically idle up when the item calling for power is used then idle down when not calling for power. I LOVE IT!

SO FAR I AM IMPRESSED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND IT'S QUALITY. IT COMPARES IN DESIGN TO MUCH PRICIER YAMAHA GENERATORS/INVERTERS AND IS EQUALLY AS QUIET. I HAVE NOT HAD TO USE IT YET, BUT IT FIRED RIGHT UP OUT OF THE BOX AFTER ADDING OIL & GAS. HOPEFULLY IT LASTS AS LONG AS THE MORE EXPENSIVE OTHER BRANDS.
